Some makeup things that I've been trying lately:

-I finally purchased the Stila "Stay All Day" liquid liner. I've tried it once. So far, to be quite honest, I still prefer the Kat Von D Tattoo liner. The brush on the KvD liner is more flexible, so I feel like it's easier for me to make a wing. I hate that I love that KvD liner so much. Damn it! I'm going to train myself to get used to the Stila one, though, because it IS a nice liner, and I've always loved Stila as a brand altogether.

-With my Sephora points, I picked up a deluxe sample of Kat Von D's liquid lipsticks. Why not? It was free. As it turns out, I think the product sucks. I remember the KvD liquid lipsticks being some of the first on the market that started the trend? So I know a lot of people love them ... But I think they're trash. The lipstick freaking transfers to my CHIN. No lipstick has ever done that to me ever.

-I picked up some liquid lipsticks from Ulta's "Avengers" collection. They were cheaper than even a lot of drugstore liquid lipsticks, and some of the colors intrigued me. As it turns out, I love them ... Especially the red one. If ALL of Ulta's liquid lipsticks are of this quality, then I am definitely coming back for more.

Girls I need your help. I'm as pale as it gets with pink undertones and a very sensitive and dry skin. I tend not to wear make up at all but because of circumstances I'll have to wear some this summer. So I'm looking for a foundation/BB cream/CC cream, any recommendation? If it's cheap it's also better but I'm willing to spend a bit just for this time :)

Do tinted moisturizers count in this? I used to use Bareminerals Complexion Rescue in Opal. That's a pretty good one.

I bought myself this specific shampoo and conditioner for redheads and it's probably the greatest thing I've ever tried.

Super pale? Korean BB creams would be excellent for you. Missha tends to skew toward pink undertone but you would also do well with their other selections as they're quite neutral. I'm also a fan of Innisfree (very affordable yet great quality) and Moonshot. If you tell me what kind of finish you're looking for (dewy or matte) I can give you some specific recommendations!

Like @Beluga, I am also on the hunt for a good BB Cream/tinted moisturizer. I'm at a point where I just don't want to wear foundation at all anymore, as I don't really care if I have "super flawless-looking" skin.

The only thing I'm afraid of, though, is the tinted moisturizer oxidizing. That happened to me once, and I've been kind of scared to venture out into trying them again.

I don't really care about the finish to be honest, just as long as it doesn't sweat out and has a natural look to it! Whenever I'd wear foundation I'd always end up looking like I was wearing a yellow mask and my skin would just fall apart, especially on my nose. I've seen a few Korean BB creams around but they looked really yellowish to me? I trust your opinion though!

Also worth mentioning: apparently Innisfree and Moonshot aren't available anywhere in my country... Damn Europe!

ETA: read some good reviews on this Erborian's BB cream, would you guys recommend it? It looks like it also might be the right shade for me for once!

ok so i want some funky, quality leggings with interesting/weird prints. specifically im looking for a cow print. dont ask

Really hard to find good leggings - I make mine. Patterns for pirates have a brilliant ‘pegs’ pattern which even has a pocket add on and is brilliantly customisable. No more rolling down leggings. Seriously, find a second hand serger or pick up a cheap one for a hundred bucks or so and learn to sew. Best thing you’ll ever do, and you can use a billion different prints

For just absolute ease of use and for a really easy flawless yet natural finish I strongly recommend BB cushions instead of the stand alone tube BB creams. If you can get your hands on Missha in Europe, their Tension Pacts are particularly nice. The M Cushion is great too for a soft matte finish if you're into that. Do Korean online shops like Jolse not deliver to Europe? I didn't know that :(

Anyone used the Overtone hair conditioner? Thinking about dyeing my hair and that seems like a good way to keep color for a bit after the appointment, but at $30 a pop I'm reluctant to just buy it without recommendations

Try Iroiro if you want a bright artificial color with conditioning purposes. Overtone sees to me to be just semipermanent color diluted in a deep conditioner. It won't lighten your hair at all, since you don't mix it with a developer - you'd have to bleach first or already have light hair to get the bright result in their ads.

Thanks! I'll check that out

I ordered some "liquid" BB Creams from Amazon, because they are considerably cheaper than the cushion stuff.

I bought one from Holika Holika ("Aqua Petit Jelly") and Missha M ("Perfect Cover BB Cream"). I've had good experiences with the Holika Holika brand before, especially with lip products and face treatments. I plan to mix these BB creams in with my moisturizer anyway just to thin them out. We'll see how it goes! If I like them, I will look out for the BB cushions.

About a year ago, I almost purchased a Physician's Formula "Cushion Foundation," but I stopped myself because I assumed that it wouldn't be as good as the Korean stuff. Looks like the Cushion Foundations were only a quick trendy flash in the pan for makeup brands in the west anyway, so I bet my gut feeling was correct.

Just for full clarification, NO semipermanent color (Splat, Manic Panic, Iroiro, Special FX, Overtone, Ion Brights, Good Dye Young, etc.) will lighten your hair. It only deposits over your pre-existing hair color. Like a watercolor paint. No developer/bleach, no lightening.

I think the color she ended up using muted everything down JUST enough to prevent it from being ratchet, lol.

Her nails were just fine before the acrylics, though. More than just fine, actually.

I tend to cringe at the thought of acrylics, though. I find them to be so outdated at this point. Shorter nails are just fine. As long as you keep them groomed and clean, I don't think that short nails are a big deal at all.
