I wanted to see if anybody here could recommend a thick body lotion/body butter type stuff that doesn’t smell like old people. I had been using just Bath &Body works body butter because that was moisturizing enough (lotion was just sucked up by my skin in seconds and dry and bleeding from cracks in minutes), but they don’t sell it anymore. So I got this Cetaphil stuff that seems to work, but seriously smells like a retirement home.

Preferably a mild scent, and doesn’t cost $75 per jar too. Thanks for any suggestions!

For optimal moisturizer, I always recommend anything with hemp oil. Earthly Body makes a body butter, as does Hempz. Absorbs quick with no grease, but leaves my skin so fucking soft and moisturized.

My favorite is Cake Beauty's heavy cream vanilla shea butter. https://www.cakebeautyusa.com/products/heavy-cream-body-lotion-shea-butter They don't use chemicals and it makes my skin smooth.
It doesn't smell like old people. It smells like cake. It's 9 dollars.

Oh, well I did that. I've read that you can put baking soda (if I remember correctly) into warm water and it whitens the nails. I wonder if it works for this.

You could try filing/buffing the stains off with a soft emery board and/or a buffing block from the drug store like this (just the quickest example I found online)

That has worked for me in the past though I'm not sure it would be effective if the stain on your nails is "deep"

I've heard of people using lemon juice to reduce nail stains but haven't tried it

I don't have one of those. I wonder if a nail board would do the trick.

Gold Bond is pretty amazing. I have dry AF hands too and gold bond doesn't get absorbed immediately.

Yeah sorry. I was being a sperg. A nail file and an emery board are basically the same thing. The difference is, a nail file can be made from sandpaper, metal, or crystal/glass; an emery board is always made of sandpaper. Using a paper emery board/paper file is more gentle. If you're going to use a metal or glass file just be extra gentle.

Seconding Cake Beauty (smells so good) and two others: Tree Hut Coconut Lime body butter and Naked Bee Orange Blossom body butter.

I'm a big big fan of Nyx Doll Eye Mascara, it lasts for quite a while and is very good at fanning out my lashes and making them look voluminous

Doll Eye is a really good mascara. It's my go-to for my bottom lashes, and for when I'm wearing false eyelashes. The formula is just light enough that it's perfect to use for "bonding" my false lashes with my real ones.

It's almost fool-proof for anyone who is afraid of getting their lashes clumpy.

This liquid lipstick is amazing. Stayed on through food and sleep. Still looked good the next day.
