No. The short-ish version is that Lamuel Donoso (1988-2019, died at age 31) owned an imageboard called Nido (literally "nest" in spanish). Among the usual topics (/v/ for video games, etc.), he also had a board that got him in trouble - /p/, which was for "chutas" (slang for women), people posted nudes and women that they found attractive there. A Telegram channel for it was made in 2017, and some underage girls got posted on it. You kinda know how this ends: the police got involved, Chilean TV even reported on this, and Lamuel took the coward's way out, killing himself via jumping into train tracks. He was an actual pedophile and many people (including some Nido users) rejoiced about his suicide. That's the important part about him.

The rest of this post is context for interested English speakers.
Regarding the telegram channel, things got worse with non-Nido users finding out that this channel exists, and cancelling Lamuel, along with the users. Messages shown in the OP say:
"you want to kidnap that one too?"
"They asked us for 50 chicks in Temuco"
"From Russia and Ukraine"
"30 alive and 20 frozen"

Whether those are shitposts or not, I dunno, I vaguely remember reading that some of that was just people trying to scare non-users, but the chat got way out of hand either way.
Eventually, shit blew up in Lamuel's face, with a police investigation where he got his hard drive and cellphone taken away.

Lamuel was generally unwell. Per this article in spanish:
  • he wasn't close with his family
  • always a good student, was into literally and wrote a pedophilic book called "El Intruso" - which the article compares to "Lolita"
  • His cousin Vicente publicly said on social media that Lamuel was a detestable person who was mentally unstable.
  • "As a lone wolf, his social life was null"
  • In 2013, he had a breakup with a girl named Paula, who was Nido's first victim. According to her, she left him upon finding out that he had cheated on her with an underage girl. Since then, Lamuel used his site to shit talk her and her family, even made a story up about her robbing him, according to her.

Per the lost media wiki (archive, another page in spanish), this is what the Intruso book was about, translated:
The book apparently explored the life of a young man that feels a passionate attraction to minors between 11 and 16 years of age. After a girl aged 22 robbed him of money and dignity, he would go into a promiscuous sexual life.

It's known through different media outlets, that this book would have been registered in libreroonline.com in 2010.
Currently, if someone enters the page, they'll be able to see the ISBN and other data about the book, like the publication date, but it is unavailable for reading.

Though the book is registered...its existence had been doubted. Many argue that the book wasn't more than just a joke from Lamuel's demented mind, who registered a book without actually writing it. This argument doesn't have reliable sources other than his own confirmation.

Nevertheless, Chilean media like El Dinamo got literary reviews made by book readers, which had disappeared along with the book in a period between 2010 and 2019. All the reviews agree with saying that the book, while interesting at first, degenerated into an extended display of pedo fantasies, whose protagonist tried to justify with his schizophrenia and spite.

After many months of an investigation, Nido has been shut down. It was an imageboard, although in the last year, it became a Telegram community. The allegations over what happened on the site where as grim as the admin. Lamuel Donoso, 31 years old, has killed himself, jumping into train tracks at Metro de Santiago (Chile). The allegations, among others, included CP distribution, threats and extortion of girls between 13 and 18.

If you ask me what I'm feeling, I'll say I'm happy. One parasite less. In this entry, I will explain how this relates to Hispachan.
Something that we kept quiet for 6 years, and I can finally explain.

Since 2013, Lamuel had dedicated himself to posting CP on Hispachan, with the objective of taking down the site. And I'm not talking about teens taking selfies, but rather 6 year olds jerking off big dicks. I couldn't prove this in court, but as the Hispachan admin, I simply know it's true. Lamuel hated and envied Hispachan. Since 2013, and for years, most of the time that hard CP was posted, at that same time, memes would be posted about Nido being better than Hispachan, and Nido threads against Hispachan would be posted. In 2013, Nido was a residual (fringe?) site, I can assure you that nearly all the (Nido) memes were made by the same Lamuel, in an attempt to call attention and leech clicks from Hispachan, which had grown in less than a year in a way that he couldn't accept. His strategy was posting CP, with the objective of taking the site down, something I will never forgive.

On the other hand, Lamuel registered the domain hispachan.com since 2012, which redirected to other sites in a fraudulent way, Nido among them. The fact that he insisted on leeching visits from us, mixing us with his trash site, and systematically rejecting our proposals for dialogue so that he would stop fucking with us, also made it so that I would have a personal hatred of him. Someone who does that deserves everything bad that could happen to him.
To wrap up, not related to Hispachan, he was also the same protagonist of many sexual scandals and of harrassing minors through the years. They are well known in the Choroy (nido) community, ask around and you'll find out what kind of trash person he was. Not even his own community liked him.

Why are we not Nido?

In Hispachan, when a girl sees her pics posted here and asks for their removal, they are deleted within 24 hours in a diligent way. If she sends us a complaint that involves local authorities, we cooperate with the IP and other data that we have of the users that posted the pictures, in case they are helpful in a criminal investigation. It's not just me saying it, other girls can confirm it, and guys every now and then, as is normal. They contact us because their pictures got leaked in our anonymous boards. No one was left hanging. Since 2012, we do it and we will keep doing it. Hispachan is legal and will always be.

This is what Nido's admin didn't do in his sick obsession and megalomania, not listening to legal notices, and that's why he ended up like that. Everyone that compares Hispachan with Nido ought to know that, beyond the imageboard structure, as old as the internet and that other sites have, like 4chan, we are not alike in any other way.

To conclude, a reminder that on the internet, everyone should be responsible with their own data and personal images. What is posted online, stays online. From the social networks, anyone can grab the info and repost it anywhere. It's very important to be educated on the internet, and know that this can happen. On Hispachan, we believe, firmly in personal freedoms, among them, the freedom of expression, that we must protect online. That balance between maximum liberty and the following of laws is what we always try to maintain, it's what moves us, and from here, our promise to keep it that way.

I feel like I'm in a movie with a happy ending. Do not rest in peace, Lamuel, you won't be missed.

To keep it in Record: This thread was made during the inception of IC and not only that, I made it just a few months after Lamuel's death. Because every day that passed after his An Hero'ing , less and less stuff about him was public record. And I think people like him are a reminder of what kind of bullshit Forum/IB admins can get if given enough power and traction. At the end of the day Lamuel kinda was like our little version of Lowtax, Except for the CSAM and the underhanded shit with other IBs.

As for the Remains of Nido: there's a few, but they are all a shadow of what Nido used to be, let alone 6-chan. Only screencaps and faggotry.
