The technical incompetance on display is even worse the usuall.
First the projector is locked by key and when they open it up they see that it's one milled piece and not a single warning light goes off in their heads? When you see milled aluminum in that thickness like that it's either made to kill or it will kill you. Companies don't spend thousands on machining for it to look cool they do it when it's neccesary. This is not a macbook.
Then when they get to the top and they tape over the exhaust flap sensor was just fucking insane both in reasoning and with what they did. Qouting Eliajah:

Look at that big ass spiral duct it's clearly designed to be extraced by fans to an ventilation system so it gets proper airflow and cooling. The flap is not there to stop airflow but to check for it. Cause a xenon lightbulbs are just a heating elements that convert elecricity to light & heat. The model of projector that they have can be configured with either 2,3,4.5 or 6KW ligthbulbs.
Lets say its a 6KW lightbulb that's equivalent to 4 space heaters running in that small compartment. Imagine being locked in a closet with 4 space heaters running at full blast.
If that was the only protections the manufacturer had installed they would have cooked the projector. There is obviously a layered protection system with temperature sensors that make sure that you don't kill the electronics or the bulb.
Then they start it up and the have the gall to complain that it's not that bright while the projector is fighting for its life.

Well for starterts even if it's labeled lumens I doubt that there is a measurment of lumens inside the projector as that would not determin how many lumens that reach the audiance. Cause of the bulbs age, the lens and so on.
Its far more likely they are measuring the Lamp current and voltage for an excepcted light output and that you can set an intervall depending on the installed lamp for a brighter or a dimmer screen and the age of the lamp.
I decided to dive in to the manual of the thing and there in black and white it says:
Automatically enables LiteLOC™ and maintains the current brightness level as long as possible. The Light Meter value is an arbitrary unit of measure, not lumens or fL.
So they looked at the intensity and equated that to lumens when it is an arbritary number. Brilliant. What it is in reality is a number generated by an algorithm to maintain brightness of the bulb as it ages.
It's difficult to see but you can see that the bar is very low in the video.
Hillariously as referenced above Elijah said that and others at LTT has tried to play with the settings and couldn't find any thing to make it brighter and they tought it was locked by service. Linus came in and pressed Lightloc autoadjust and it got twice as bright in two seconds. Why are you even paying these people Linus? They can't even find an autoadjust button.
Normally the bar would be red but since the projector can't reach it it disables the algortihm. Unfortanatly they never show the staus screen so we don't know what the auto adjust system was aming for as it sets a target based on the power curve you set in settings and Xenon lightbulbs lose up to half of their brightness after their service life ends.
Later they complain about the focus and the flickering but the didn't try any of the troubleshooting steps from the manual that Eliajah got from the manufacturer. In the manual it explains if you want to tilt it you have to adjust the bore sight and since this has been hanging in a cinema it's obviously not setup for laying flat on construction equipment.
The guy asks if anyone knows what the material is, thinks it might be Triax 1120(seems to be an ABS + nylon blend) that should have been fine with a short exposure to gasoline, gets questioned by people wondering why he would dare use such a fine tool while working on automotive equipment(failing to understand what a carb is I would assume) and that the garage isn't an environment for a screwdriver or that proper shop tools should be completely stainless steel(lol). And of course the usual discussion about it being based off of another ratcheting screwdriver design that seems to have far fewer issues compared to Linus' version while costing half as much. What is interesting is that apparently Linus' merch store may have lied about the materials used for this screwdriver.
Apparently Triax 1120 can't be clear so that can't be used for the clear version of the screwdriver, and there's no warning about using the screwdriver around any kind of solvents even though Linus sent hundreds of these fucking things to "maker" youtube people that work on everything from PCs to heavy equipment and the idea that someone wouldn't be able to use a screwdriver when working on... something for a car or motorcycle, even a fucking bicycle(solvents and detergents get used on these as well). It's not like the guy was beat on it with a hammer, or grabbing it with some vice grips to get extra torque or something.

These things are hunks of shit that no one will care about after a decade. Yeah some old craftsman screwdriver might smell like vomit, but the thing still works.
A normal screwdriver should be able to last for years and all sorts of use unless you abuse it. It's fucking retarded to produce a product like this that is basically bound to become landfill if someone actually tries to use the thing.
