Even if they shut down, you might be able to use Home Assistant to control them locally out of the box. Most chinesium has some form of local control option. Even if not, the fun thing about chinesium is that it uses standard chips such as ESP8266 or ESP32, so there's lots of hacks to get things working. It's also pretty easy to flash custom firmware on them to have full local control, though it does require some very basic electronics knowledge

Dunno how this is a thing. I usually use 2 pod things and set the washer 60 or 90c. Those stains come out quite easily this way. Washing at 30c has always been a scam.
