He just needs to keep a core audience with a sane upload schedule and regular product shilling. Instead he just keeps chasing the high of low effort high view count videos that just won't fucking happen in current YouTube.
 
I have no idea what the fuck is happening with his channel. His supposedly wife and child seemingly disappeared along his wedding ring. He unlisted all his non cooking videos, though he returned them later, and now actually do regular uploads with cooking videos (which are still his best content), with a new channel for streams that I doubt will live long.

Also he is going back to Uni at 30+?

He's going back to the stuff that got big views back in his hey day. His last cooking vid got like 50K views in a week. Which is pretty low, damn low for a dude with 3.5 million subs.

Yah we know Jew Tube is fucking with him because he's "Russian" but still...them some terrible view counts.

He's been getting desperate for years now. Goodwill is a currency and he squandered a lot of it with personal drama. If he was political then getting fucked up with would at least make some sense.

He's getting not bad views for starting out, last stream peaked at 14k and I will admit it was a very chill stream. He's not over the top or anything like in his videos.

Maybe he's got a future as a twitcher?

Hopefully it works out well for him revenue wise. High edit gameplay videos really fell out of favour in Youtube.
 
Wow, didn't think about this guy in years. I personally just got bored at some point, that's why I stopped watching him. It was right in the beginning where he got desperate. I'd assume that it was similar for many people.

He's used to uploading one video every 4 to 5 weeks, to really make it on Twitch you got stream like 5 days a week. It's like a real job and Boris hates working.

Come on now, he'll be at the ground floor of the new wave of salo streamers. You know, russian men who wear man-thongs, grease themselves down in salo and sit in a kiddie pool full of vodka and do suggestive things to doctors sausages and pickles for twitch subs, getting banned every other week for violating twitch's tos and getting it overturned by accusing them of anti russian discrimination
 
Yeahhh, regarding his newest switch to streaming, I was on some of his early streams and to be honest, the atmosphere on these was quite pleasant and chill, mostly due to the audience being like 20 something people max. He actually interacted with the audience and answered the questions (however he still dodged most of them because muh privacy).
The small audience came from the fact that he streamed on his second gaming focused channel (which he seems to kinda abandon now, wow nothing new here), then he switched to streaming on his main channel and holy fuck how can someone's streaming quality go down so quickly, I honestly still don't know. He now only reads the donations (oh the irony) if he even reads them and most of his streams is him talking to himself and basically the most boring experience ever, it's like watching your older sibling play a game but worse

I'm honestly only invested in his channel so much because it's so bizarre to me that he managed to do this whole slavic funny russian meme for 10 years, man. 10 years
The whole slav fever on the internet died in like 2016 and he still manages to keep going in 2025, even if barely - how???
 
Boris can't be taking in that much

His vids are getting less then 100k now. On the plus side his streaming seems to be going well. That Uamee interview/dance party got like 10K viewers so I'm sure he got some decent tips from that.

I'm not much of a stream guy, if I want to play game I will play games not watch some other dude play them. But I hope it works out for him. Odd that he's not on Twitch though, you'd think that be the best place to try to rebuild his brand as a gamer stream thing.

He's delisted his Patron amount so I got no clue how much he takes in but it's growing, up to from 1300 to 1650 in the last 2 months so whatever he's doing must be working.

Too bad You Tube hates him, he really needs to move to Twatch.

I don't think it has been mentioned in this thread, but he's actually an Estonian putting up a faux Russian accent (FPSRussia, anyone?) - it's pretty apparent if one actually speaks a Slavic language. I remember reading a thread on him on an international imageboard many years ago how some of his very first videos, which were mostly gaming, had him speaking in a completely different accent, not to mention people piecing together the things and surroundings seen in his videos to actually be from Estonia.

But yeah, the whole "gopnik cheeki breeki" fad has been dead for a long while now and unless he properly diversifies I don't think he'll be able to make a breakthrough again.

Bald and Bankrupt visited such a place years ago and Boris commented on the video saying that Bald should visit his hometown, and he said where he lived, but I can't remember and the only Estonian city is know is Tallinn.

If I were to guess what that city might've been it'd be either Narva or Paldiski. Every Baltic country has their own Russian enclave city/cities, biggest ones being Narva in Estonia, Daugavpils in Latvia and Visaginas in Lithuania. If he's from one of those Russian-majority cities it does make sense why his channel is Russian themed. And don't get me wrong, his runglish accent is pretty convincing, although you can definitely pick up nuances that he's playing it up if you're more familiar with the Russian language.
