Apparently I belong here, so I'll say I missed the old way rating icons sat on the bottom of the post. I'm not saying that the new ones look obnoxiously tween (but they do), I'm saying that the "scrunch them all up like a train" looks dorky. That's all. Oh and since its my first post I guess I'll also say congrats on not breaking everything Null.

Getting 502's for a few seconds there...

Found me a wee bug in the new board version. In my profile, for location (which I previously left blank, I don't WANT my location revealed) I decided on a whim to put 'Tok'yo, Wapan! as my location a couple days ago. (my avatar is from the movie Tokyo Gore Police) When I clicked on My Location on a whim today, instead of reading it as Tokyo Japan or just returning a 'can't find that location' message, it instead pinpointed my actual location within a couple of blocks!

I am presuming this is some kind of 'fallback' based on the IP address location of the nearest known ISP relay or something if the algorithm dosen't recognize the location when it is clicked on. However that displays far more doxing ammo then I am comfortable revealing.

I do not know if this has been in there since the old board or not, I never would have found it without clicking the location hotlink for the hell of it, which I would imagine not that many people regularly do.

I've removed my joke location, but considering the userbase of the farms it might be a good idea to fix this.

Thank you!

On Samsung Internet app v8.2.01.2 (Galaxy S6) there's no page numbers that I can see, so I have to click a thread and then the end. This is slightly different where I could click the latest page while browsing on my phone. The margins are slightly weird too where I need to zoom out slightly to not scroll left/right. No issues on my computer.

On the latest version of Chrome on a LG Stylo 4:

When I try to go to the newest page of the Trump Derangement Syndrome thread in Community Watch (page 1794) it instead sends me to the first page. This happens if I click on the link for page 1794, or if I'm on page 1793 and click Next Page.

I copy pasted that from the link on page 1793 so it's not a problem with the hyperlink. Opening page to New tab does the same.

Edit: Same thing happens on Firefox 65.0.1 on Windows 10.

Looking closer it seems like it's a phantom link, and there isn't a page 1794 yet. From the Community Watch board it says the last post was by LeLLinne half an hour ago, and that post is on page 1793.

Signed up to say the same thing. Firefox 65.0.1 (64-bit)/Windows10, cleared cache also.
Looks like Null either fixed it or it fixed itself with the latest post. Might be a problem for other threads though.

I'm still able to rate posts with DRINK! or Mad At The Internet which I was not able to before the update. Intentional? I'm aware this was an issue with the Semper Fidelis rating and that has since been fixed.

I'm aware everyone can rate things with Horrifying now. However, I don't see much of a difference between Islamic Content and Horrifying.

I think of the difference as roughly:
  • horrifying: the subject of this post is terrible. ex: anything on the zoosadists
  • islamic content: this post is terrible. ex: when a zoosadist shows up defending their actions
So similar ideas but one negative and one not necessarily negative.
