Oh my god, what is this horrible website? ... It's like a nightmare.
So @Null here's a more sincere criticism, I guess: too many alerts. Old version would have rolled all of these (they're referring to the quoted post's ratings) into one alert.

My 'tism tells me I want to see TRUE and HONEST reply and view counts, not these approximations

please do not start jacking up your fucking browsers with bullshit greasemonkey scripts because when I eventually change shit to get it right it's going to break your browser and you're going to blame me. unless you actually know what you're doing.

Layout looks "chunky" and not as smooth as original.

Also too much javascript shit, though that's XF2 itself doing that. I really hate having to mouse over "Like" and wait for several hundred milliseconds for some other menu to pop up.

Also "Watched Threads" is buried under such a menu, but that's easy enough to fix by just bookmarking it. It now has as many pages as you like, though, so that's better.

Also the little Kiwi icon (favico?) isn't showing up in tabs so it's an ugly default image.

Super trivial I know but the site has had a generally visually appealing appearance and design philosophy I've liked.

One minor issue:

There's a new, red-purple icon that looks like a bar graph. It appears in the list of threads for a subforum. I'm not sure what it means, but it's a little too close in color to the icon indicating that I've subscribed to a thread.

I also think XF2 runs without any JS.

I think all the compaints about JS are coming from people who don't know what it nor CSS is or does. What they're actually complaining about is this bullshit "minimalist design" that the default XF2 comes with where absolutely everything is hidden under a button you need to click instead of being folded out by default. Which I'm assuming you're aware of already.

Well I like that I can see all the avatars of you wonderful people full size on mobile trash now. I like that the tool bar thingy above the post field is easier for me to see.

But I only see a like button and no ratings. It's a little weird. Some of these icons on posts are not ones I use on other sites. I guss they are social media common but I hand around a lot of oldschool places so I don't see them much. The less than looking thing and the heraldry banner/flag thing at the top right of each post. I guess I'll have to click them and see what they do.

Not sure how I feel over all. I think I liked the old design a bit better. But this one isn't bad at all.

edit
"less than" is share this post. An option I don't use anywhere because I tend to copy from a right click (although I can't desktop now anyway so it might be handy). The flag is bookmarks. I don't use bookmarks. I just make a link file with links I like because I am weird like that. But of course on mobile that is cumbersome.

Última edición:
I like it and I really appreciate all the work that went into and will continue to go into fixing the site up. Lots of improvements I'm noticing already as a mostly mobile user.

One gripe I have though is that when I used to go to my notifications/alerts/whatever there would be a little orange star to tell me which ones were new so I didn't scroll too far and start opening pages I've already opened. It would be great to get those back.

If it's just my eyes fucking up, I'm sorry, but for a minute on mobile I had the old (large) borders on each side of the site so the posts were small. It fixed itself a minute later (Hi Null), but now the border is a little off; on the left side some things look almost a bit cropped off, so it's a bit weird to read things. I don't know if it is just on my end though. I can't zoom out anymore so I assume it isn't

I'm guessing all it really is is just a quick fix. Apparently it was Dreamland who posted it on the Matrix server after a crash course in CSS
