my font is fucky on the posts (though not in the reply box as i'm typing). font is currently fixed

generally, currently, the site is much slower for me. my text lags as i input, and my scrolling is way slower. i get a weird beeping noise when i do two-finger scrolling on my laptop. not sure what i would need to change on my end. bad behavior was fixed once i restarted firefox. now it's much faster.

edit: most importantly, latest new threads where?

Yeah... I really hope the following items can go away:

  1. The busy AF backdrop
  2. The stupid amount of spacing between posts which also shows the backdrop and makes it look like some shitty messaging site
  3. Bolded usernames
  4. Location of the Online icon; it just looks uglier than the old little green dot.
What I'm trying to say is I hope the forum gets as close as possible to looking like the old format since this new one looks awful at the moment.
 
Thanks for all the hard work @Null. Still has a little dust here and there but we'll be back to full speed in no time.

Most of my requests are pretty low priority, like getting the custom reply button back in TSIC's Desert Bus and other 'tistic shit like that.

I do have one silly question, why was @CatParty hired to mod and fired in hours?
 
is there a way to get the old "new threads" and "recent activity" boxes back? they used to be on the right of the main page, now only a tiny "latest post" section on the very bottom exists.
 
Yeah, it's not using all the horizontal space, everything is super spaced out vertically, the likes and such being hover-over is terrible, and the solid matte grey is rough on the eyes. It needs texture or something. Also the like icon is literally facebook-tier, lol.
I'm sure that's all fixable, though. Probably.

Actually its already doing that for me. What web browser are you using? I'm on Firefox 65.0.1 for reference.

@Null this is what I meant with the font. You're right, it is the same as before but it differs from the one on the reply box:

I personally prefer the font in the reply box (I Think it's Calibri) vs the old Times New Roman. Also, the Times New Roman for the post is considerably smaller than in the previous forum version; probably that's why I find it so awful.

Fix'd. You rule.
