This reminds me of a friend who told me about how their little brother, who went to a private Catholic school, gave up pizza for Lent. Their parents didn't know this and they got pizza for dinner. He cried about it and their parents said something along the lines of "God will understand!" and that was enough to make him satisfied.

Oblique Orthodox Lent references aside, I should figure out how to pull off Lent while managing my diet. I'm already taking less than 50g of carbs, so as far as I can tell now, the only thing I'd be eating is a couple ounces of nuts/peanut butter per day.

Maybe I could eat canned crab...

Canned crab is full of germs, though. There's always shrimp, pea protein, and asking your priest for oikonomia or however you spell it.

Fast food, and I'm continuing to (mostly) give up digital devices on Sundays. I still play music when working out and to unwind later in the day, I have to respond for messages but other than that no digital devices between me and the Lord on his day
