Lent 2021 What are you sacrificing? - Heathens need not reply

Carbohydrates, meat on Fridays, diet sodas, transportation, masturbation, and shaving
If you ain't suffering you ain't doing enough

This is my first year doing lent! I'm giving up meat on Friday obviously, and I'm also giving up fast food.

You don't have to be religious to benefit from introducing restrictions and discipline into your daily lives for a month and a half, or to enjoy cultural yearly traditions when they come around

>giving up a variable collection of vices
>not giving up meat, spined fish, dairy and oil nearly every single day for six weeks

Oblique Orthodox Lent references aside, I should figure out how to pull off Lent while managing my diet. I'm already taking less than 50g of carbs, so as far as I can tell now, the only thing I'd be eating is a couple ounces of nuts/peanut butter per day.

Maybe I could eat canned crab...
