I like to think that MLP in general was just a dry run for a Barney revival. I mean, Barney went on that little hiatus in 2010, and that was the year MLP started up again. Now with the full-length MLP movie that could possibly cap off the series in 2017 along with Barney's revival starting that very same year, it seems even more likely that this is the case.

Well, to be fair, that show did get rebooted recently, so they're obviously catering to the trendy hipsters who grew up with that show as well. Wouldn't be surprised if a fanbase starts to grow around that as well...

You're trying to accuse every kids show you don't like of being part of a mass conspiracy to brainwash kids, but thinking they're doing it specifically to spite you is going too far?
