I remember this. The one time a black man wants to take responsibility for some children, the liberals try to crucify him.

While the main argument is that it gave incorrect picture of the situation (being Africa, every side involved is a monster, but the people behind the charities didn't want to admit that). The real sin is that it got away with the professional grift so the establishment media got into 24/7 ops to discredit the movement, as if every other charity wasn't slacktivism where 99% of the funds goes to wages for the people on top.

i was really young when this came out and i watched the video but got really confused since it was also an election year so i thought it was some giant campaign to elect kony as president against obama
which would've been pretty interesting the more i think about it

I wonder if Jason Russell became homeless because he spent so much money traveling to third world countries to act like a white savior. Also, anyone who names their kids “Gavin Danger” and “Everley Darling” deserves the Kony treatment.
