At this point may as well go full Dino Riders.

Literal genetically engineered t-rex created by humanoid descendants of dinosaurs, with literal lasers attached to its head

they still lack human ingenuity and coordination. that's how humanity has survived going against lions and elephants with spears.
sure, the bodycount would by high but eventually the raptors would lose. the first movies work because it was a rag-tag group going up against a whole island, the numbers alone weren't in their favor.
They did pretty well dealing with muldoon and he was very familiar with them. I suspect raptors would be rather difficult to get rid of entirely once they got out into the wilderness

It's funny how even the first movie forgot about this:

No they didn't. It was explicitly addressed in the lost world as the herbivores surviving by eating plants rich in lysine and the carnivores eating them. Whether thats realistic or not is another matter but it wasn't forgotten about

A lot of the things that happened were the result of Nedry meddling with the park systems. The raptors were constantly under vigilance. They told us the raptors were constantly checking too for a chance to escape and Nedry provided it because, as Ian said, he didn't respect them. He didn't think they were as dangerous as they were.
Nedry respected the raptors just fine. Muldoon explicitly pointed this out. They got out because the idiots in the control room shut the entire system down without stopping to consider the fact that would shut off the raptor fences as well. Something even nedry explicitly knew better than to fuck with. Nedry may have set the whole situation in motion but shutting everything down without considering what could happen is on them not him. As is the bizarre fact they didn't have any repair crews, emergency medical staff, armed security staff or emergency radio independent of the rest of the system on the island 24/7. Even if nedry didn't do all the stupid shit, with that lack of foresight something like this was always going to happen sooner or later. a critical system failure, crippling hardware failure, another worse storm, someone doing something stupid, etc... they literally have nobody on the entire island that can repair even minor damage or issues or protect the staff that are there as a skeleton crew when everybody else fucks off, let alone the ability to treat any serious injuries. You'd think all of this would be legally mandated, and demanded by the investors. You know, the same investors who got the whole situation going and were questioning the safety of the park after a worker got killed for nonsensical reasons doing something that should have been entirely automated, especially given how dangerous those particular dinosaurs are. Odd that the lawyer never pointed this stuff out, even when naming potential safety issues early on
On the other hand shit had to happen the way it did for the events of the movie to happen at all. You also have to ignore the fact nedry would have been caught before too long, as somebody would have noticed the missing embryos and started asking questions about how that happened and when, not to mention the company that paid him would have some explaining to do about their sudden breakthroughs, that just happen to involve species that are identical to the ones from jurassic park. Plenty of lawyers would have been asking some difficult questions about corporate espionage after that. Particularly given nedrys blatant and admitted financial problems that everybody is explicitly aware of. Basically everybody involved in this situation on every level was an idiot
