I just happened to be listening to Kirsche live, not even for a-log, and a spergout happened to break out in chat has extracted a deeper opinion on the Harmful/Nikandros vs Leaflit debacle. Honestly, the response as someone who primarily watches Harmful.

Yeah it's a bit weird, but it makes sense. The Leaflit Discord situation is a direct offshoot of the Nux Discord situation, she doesn't have a cow thread and her non-cow thread doesn't want the anime racism, and it's not directly related to lolicon, so it's naturally just kind of coalesced here.
Nux has been laying low (I think for holiday reasons?) so there hasn't been enough happening with him to cut through the all-consuming Leaflit goss.

Kirsche is still retarded for dismissing the Nikandros expose the way she did at first. She did a similar thing to Leaflit in that she judged it as a hit-piece without merit. Granted, she did more at the start than Leafit by watching Nikandros instead of saying she refuses to watch it like Leaflit did, but Kirsche's first response was still moronic.

People were on Nik's side because of how Kirsche chose to engage with the Nux expose, not because she didn't watch the Nik video straight away. Nik and other people were more annoyed at her initial judgment of the expose, not that she didn't act fast to engage with that content right away.

It's simple. You inform a fellow content creator of certain evidence that puts their associates in a bad light; whether or not they choose to engage with the material in good faith is up to that content creator.

I believe that the VTuber scenes reluctance to even simply watch the video, and instead gossip among themselves creating a false idea of what the video may be, is at the very least, pretty fucking weird, especially when they do it first and foremost to protect themselves at the cost of everything else. Doubly so when the ones that "do" watch it are such neanderthals that they can't take it at face value and need to create scenarios where the person's actually the wrong one.
The leaflet situation is the best show of this, the Nux stuff was largely shoved under the rug but the Leaflet stuff? Front and center, people day in and day out hallucinating points. At it's core, all HO did was show everyone that Leaflets server is a danger to kids and that she should get her shit fixed, but the situation evolved from "you're wrong it's the parents fault" to "you're wrong in calling her a Pedophile" to "you criticized leaflet so you must just be politics poisoned" to "you're right but you should've talked to her in private" to finally "I agree with you but you were mean, and that's worse" is the biggest tell you can get for what the community really is.
I think saying they're talking in bad faith is to give them too much credit, I don't believe they even saw the videos it's just a knee jerk reaction to being criticized for anything at all. Everytime Leaflet talked about shit, her reluctance to do anything always sounded like childish rebellion.

Yeah, her first response was obnoxious and even aside from the shadman sweeping she follows the standard animoid template of "I totally don't like loli but cunnyposters are welcome" and still hasn't addressed what happened with Nux despite coming out so hard against minors in Discord. When I say she has a level head, I'm talking about this minors in Discord situation specifically and putting the rest to the side.

I personally like to make sure that in any engagement like this that credit is given when due, mostly to disarm the "antis just move the goalposts" point that I often see. I think a healthy mix of carrot and stick is most effective for the goal of total cunnypedo death, and a lack of good cop gives more room for the rats to hide.

I do not understand this behavior at all. Its an hour and twenty minute video, listening to it is a bit of an ask, but like your reputation as a streamer is half of the job. Acting like its nothing when she repeatedly says she reads the farms and makes jabs at posters strikes me as a little dishonest. Glad she took a hard no minors stance but thats like the bare minimum when someone she promotes/is friendly with has a large audience of young people had a server full of EPI freaks that put kids in dangerous scenarios. Im not really in favor of forcing anyone to do anything but you could at least suffix a condemnation with "if its true" and itd be sufficient to me. Apologies for quoting you again, just wanted to say about the Shadman thing: I have seen some retards (not you specifically) calling Kirsche a pedophile in regards to Shadman which shows how low IQ they are and only gives Kirsche ammo to discredit what they are saying. If you want to go after Kirsche with the Shadman angle focus on how much she downplays and obfuscates the extent to which she was positively endorsing him. For example, in a July 2024 tweet she said that she wanted art from Shadman because she thought he was "le edgy 4chan meme artist" when in the past she has said that she was a fan of Shadman's artstyle (for context the linked clip is from a July 2023 stream). I'm not a frequent watcher of her content but I'm assuming she reads her fan thread on the Live Talent subforum which doesn't provide any criticism and only praise. From what I have noticed whenever she gets criticism from KF she portrays it in broad strokes as "THOSE KIWI FARMERS WHO CRITICIZE ME ARE JUST LIKE MY HECKIN TWITTER FREAKS WHO ARE TRYING TO CANCEL ME" to prime her audience to discredit the criticism.
