Nigga Oshi doesn't necessarily agree with this, but according to him, Leaflit said the reason why she opened the server to minors is to prevent them from joining servers with trans people and trans ideology and for Leaflit's server to "educate kids better." Nigga Oshi's personal opinion is that kids shouldn't be on the Internet, period, and you should advocate for this. Additionally, he states if someone wants to have a place for kids, then getting rid of NSFW content from it would be necessary.

This whole reasoning is quite bizarre. According to this, kids getting exposed to trans stuff is harmful. Meanwhile, in Leaflit's server, topics of "uooooh 😭" lolicon posting and femboy thirst posting takes place. Which is quite inappropriate content for children to get exposed to. The NSFW channel gets a mention as well, even if minors aren't in it, people from that chat may interact with minors outside the channel. Plus, there are probably other examples of inappropriate content for minors, which is discussed in that server.

Leaflit's server is under new management by "elviejobyte." The rules have been revamped and some channels have been deleted, including the NSFW gooner chat.
Unverified users are now set to a vetting channel, to which once vetted by the mods, they will be able to see the rest of the server.

so the tl;dr of this situation has been like this:
nux and leaflit because of their sheer retardation, lack of accountability and sense of responsibility allowed Discord degeneracy to fester in their servers.
thus making them complicit to the fuckups that occured.
then when people actually start paying scrutiny to the goings on in these servers.
they pretend they had nothing to do with these things, or pretend they couldnt realistically have done anything about it, while painting a bad-faith picture of the people calling them out as ideological enemies and moral hypocrites.

this has completely soured my impression of leaflit - who i had only known up to this point as an inoffensive commentator on YouTube participating in the culture war roundtable.
if only leaflit had done this earlier. it was literally the bare minimum of what Harmful Opinions expected of her too - and her fanbase really tried to portray him as the leftist grifter.
