Isn't binge drinking a form of moderation? That implies that it's a less than constant occurrence and that instead of trying to spend all day drunk he's instead just drinking until he passes out. From what I remember of Josh when I was keeping up with him more frequently he was basically never seen sober, was drinking off camera and seemed to be drunk almost every waking moment of his life.
