Yo, get his kid in on it too when he gets old enough. Have them watch the 2010s-2020s "kids" therapy/rainbow slop (Owl House, Steven Universe, Star vs. the Forces of Evil, Amphibia, etc.) and KidTron will go "where's the cool action/magic stuff, why do we spend so much time with icky kissing?" The salt would be bountiful
