I want to bring attention to monsarat.com, his "next big thing to beat Pokemon Go".
He clearly has no idea how the industry works, not understanding that the main reason Pokemon Go became popular was that Pokemon is an established, popular IP, and the concept of catching Pokemon is novel and can't translate well to any other franchise.
In addition he doesn't seem to have any idea what he's doing (he's trying to get the rights to various IPs, meaning he doesn't even know what the game will be.)
He appears EXTREMELY out of touch.

Very little game footage in the first video (and what there is is terrible), zero game footage in the second video. Even if it was any good (which it's not), Pokemon Go was last year's fad. Trying to create 'the next Pokemon Go' is pointless.

They clearly have no idea what their game will actually be and haven't even started actually developing it. It looks like all the "game footage" was extremely early prototype footage (the dude they were gushing about because he stays in place even if the the phone's camera moves [side note: that's not impressive, lots of apps already do that] was in fucking t-pose and looked like something they bought from an amateur) or faked. Every person they talked to was either given a script or had the game pitched to them as "Pokemon Go but better" by Monsarrat himself with no proof he can accomplish that.
The fact they constantly mention Pokemon Go proves they have no identity themselves and that they are destined to fail like the billions of other Pokemon Go clones. Although those games actually exist past the vague concept stage at least.
Monsarrat seems like an out of touch old man who has never heard of a video game before Pokemon Go. It's amazing he actually founded a studio before this. Truly sad.

If i didnt know this was real I would think it was a hilarious parody of the kind of companies that are convinced their app is going to be the next big thing because it uses all the right buzzwords.

This guy is hilarious. His speeches sound like Sam Hyde's tedx talk being delivered by chris chan.
And the bio on his website is just delightful.

Depends on whether they can get their attorney's fees shifted to the vexatious litigant. He's good for it if they can, which is why it's pretty dumb for him to file patently bogus lawsuits.

I'm pretty sure he was smart enough to get whatever he could up front, enough to make it worth his time, and if Zaiger is a homeless bum or whatever at this point, is also smart enough not to try to get blood from a turnip.
