There's a guy with shades and John shooting each other near point blank and they somehow miss each other? Not even swinging their swords on the other hand to deflect bullets in a "fuck it, lets accept the series escalation at this point", they just shoot at each other walking towards each other and missing because...?

I'm guessing that Donnie Yen's character is a blind assassin/swordsman type. On top of the bulletproof suits, there could be something to throw him off in that scene. I'm excited for him, Scott Adkins and Hiroyuki Sanada showing up in this installment but sooner or later they're going to lose steam or fuck the franchise up. It's inevitable.

Everyone is a super assassin now, even the dogs and the hotel jannies. There are no characters in this series anymore, just a bunch of video game fighters who are all immortal.

That's also how I felt about Nobody. Tiny Bob Odenkirk tanked everything they threw at him while cutting through literal armies like it was nothing. People still make fun of Seagal for this shit but give everything in the gay-ass Wickverse a pass because "muh Keanu."

Ana De Armas was entertaining in No Timee To Die, so I assume this is just coming off that. Although, I can enjoy the silly female led action film. I don't even remember what even happened in the film Anna. I assume this would just be something like that. Len Wiseman is actually a decent director, despite what you all think. Will I watch this? Sure. Will I remember it, no.

Yeah that was annoying. 2 clearly stated that even though the "body armor" stopped bullets, it was still quite painful. Even if the bullets were stopped by his arm, the blunt force would break his bones from such short distance.

John Wick cleans up the streets of Paris

I've watched every JW movie in the theater so far and honestly I never thought I'd be looking at my watch during an John Wick movie but JW3 made me do it. Some of the setpieces are just way too long and need to be cut down a bit so they're snappier and more memorable. I specifically remember the scene in some desert shithole village where him and some broad are just murderizing waves of goons to be way too long.
