🌟 Internet Famous Jirard Khalil / The Completionist / ThatOneVideoGamer - Obsessive Compulsive Autist involved in a $780k case of charity fraud

The timing could not be any worse for the Khalils. They finally get money pulled together to donate, Jirard probably had his sad sap apology video ready for release, and then Karl and Muta took a big giant shit all over them. Absolutely hilarious

So the slimeballs finally donated, huh? Yeah, that's not suspicious at all. Timing sure isn't telling at all.

I can already imagine the cope from this. "OH THEY DONATED THE MONEY, IT'S ALL OVER. LEAVE PURE HECCINRONI JIRAD ALONE, YOU NAZIS AND STREET SHITTERS!"

Except not really because there's the fucking golf tournament money.

I hope they get audited so hard it gives them PTSD.

Do nothing prople bitch. Quickly find something to stop the bitching and people bitch about the fact they did. They were fucked either way the second the videos first dropped regardless of whether or not everything was actually on the level honestly.

Honestly that’s the ‘good’ thing about the new big wave of contebt creators, they actually get people to run things that know what they are doing.

Completionist and others could learn a thing or two.

This move smells more like an attempt to get a better plea deal than to salvage public images

Considering the money unaccounted for, I doubt it will do much, especially when this ran for a decade and would have continued if the story hadn't dropped.

Or maybe that's just wishful thinking.
I think it was a panic move. On top of the criminal charges, there’s also huge year to year tax penalties. I definately think their lawyer said “donate the 600k now, and when the authorities come in, we will use incompetence as our defense strategy to hopefully spare everyone jail time”

I said it when this news first dropped and I feel completely vindicated now. He absolutely stole that money and has been living off it for years with no way to put money back into the bank account. Fat Neckbeard loser just proves you’re the real autist giving money to these faggots. I’ve never once gave an internet person a single cent and I’ll die never giving one.

LMAO! Look at this dainty little lady!

Clearly not a chubby fridge of a man, towering over any actual women.

People Magazine managed to filter and manipulate the ever living shit out of the man mug, so the result is something vaguely less masculine.

Who would have thought that spending a childhood watching your coked up actress mom having a train run on her by slimy Hollywood execs, would result in growing into a tranny lolcow?!

I can’t believe Gaijin Goomba didn’t get his own thread.
He does have one, it's just like 20 pages and dead.

edit: not even 20 lol

Either that or he could (as he alluded to when talking to Muta & Karl) throw the family under the bus & say he had no idea how it was being run rather than make an apology.

Any bets on when he will release an apology video, if ever?
I know I'm late and pages and pages behind; but probably never. Because an apology video would have to have a complete "We sent the money to a good place, here's perfect evidence." I'm not saying there is or isn't shenanigans; I'm just saying, manufacturing the apology the Internet would want is far more complicated if not impossible, depending on what's actually been going on.

Why not donate directly to the universities? They have their shit together. He's at least smart enough to know to not talk unless his lawyers tell him to, which is a plus.
This is one of the most sane responses. Especially as he's a resident of Southern California, everyone fucking knows about Loma Linda University and their hospital; it's quite literally one of if not thee top-ranked University Hospital in the fucking region if not the state. They have a Dementia program, if you're seriously having a problem offloading charity money, they're a prime fucking recipient.

Anybody who likes Nintendo games and has any reverence for the old developers who built the company should always remember that Jirard was given the ability to do an interview with Shigeru Miyamoto and wasted the opportunity saying nothing of note and asking no real questions.
I'm going to guess PR ahead of time approved any questions and topics they might discuss. This is common in all professional interviews (its considered in poor taste to throw curve balls) and likely even moreso with the language barrier, plus culture in Japan. Nintendo likes to keep themselves squeaky clean, they probably hounded the entire process. I honestly don't fault him for this one, it was purely a Nintendo PR move he just happened to get lucky to be chosen for.

Also, interviews need to be about something. No one is going to sit down with an industry leader and talk about their golf game; you actually need to agree on the topic of discussion in advance. That’s a completely normal thing to do. Not every interview is catching some person in a dramatic Gotcha, at least outside of daytime talk tv.

And this dude is about the farthest thing from a journalist as a monkey. Would anyone rather he be the guy covering any event or analysis of note?

Yeah if you're going to do a PR stunt like this, who would you choose if you were going to slap your biggest name in front of a weirdo online? The one who will ask decent but potentially hard questions or the mouth breather who worships the ground you walk on and is just hyped you're there, but you'll get the same amount of views? The second option seems easiest and safest from a corporate point of view.

What I don't get is if you're going to steal all that cash when you're a public figure, why don't they just make up some BS about having to take a hiatus and disappearing while the getting is good. You will be discovered every time, why don't they get that?
