But I digress. Question: could these scammers have hid their misdeeds had they not been so greedy? Okay, so they made $600K in 5 years so roughly $100K per year? You donate something like $20K per year to charity and avoid issues like this? Not that I'm advocating doing this but if you were to scam people this would be a way of doing it especially if you can get a guy to do some creative accounting and invent a bunch of expenses.

It took them long enough and it still doesn't take away from what they did and the money still unaccounted for (from the annual golf event). It's most likely they did this to try and mitigate the new videos that Jobst and Mutahar released, especially the talk of them calling for authorities to investigate them and encouraging viewers to report the foundation.
