I find it to be absolutely hilarious that Jersey Girl is always the butt of Smith's jokes when he talks about his "bad filmmaking." Jersey Girl is literally just a run of the mill, innocuous, and cute chick flick. And George Carlin is fantastic in it, to be honest. It really isn't that bad. It just has that reputation solely because his young fanbase hated all over it because there weren't enough weed and dick jokes and no Jason Mewes.

Clerks II, I thought, was good. I know it gets a lot of hate these days, but I still think that's a good movie. I also thought that Zack and Miri wasn't that bad either.

Since Zack and Miri, though, Smith has not made a single watchable movie. 11 years of god awful movies. Insultingly awful movies, actually.

It's clear that Smith is going back to making Jay and Silent Bob movies because he has no other options at this point. I don't hate Kevin Smith as a human being or anything ... In fact, I'm super happy for him that he survived his heart attack and actually did something to improve his lifestyle. His weight loss journey is a great story, and I'm legitimately happy for him.

His filmmaking sucks a big one though, and I am not interested in seeing this at all ...
