For months, while saying they wanted a cat, but could not afford one, it was also mentioned them going to shelters in the area and looking at cats. Why go t a shelter to 'look at cats' IF you have a cat and have had said cat for months and months? Is Je$ter not enough and they felt they needed more variety so they went to visit cats they had no intention of adopting? Did they keep going to shelters on their precious day off together shopping for another declawed cat to bring home and be a companion? Things don't add up to me.

My whole theory of the Cat being more recent than Phil leads on keeps resurfacing when people bring up things like this. Where are the pictures of Jasper before, ya know? He's so trigger happy with the phone photos you would think he would have way more to share.

I was watching LSB briefly last night and was half paying attention until he mentioned that Phil rewrote history again by saying Jasper is 2 1/2 years old when he got them(?) or that he's 2 1/2 years old now? Either way he can probably jump in and give more insight because I was a bit busy at the moment to give my full attention.

Recently though he's been mentioning his days out for the past week or so since the reveal, that they have been going to pet stores for food and cat toys, still. He mentions he gets the cheap shit but when he says that I think the complete opposite. They are dumping more money than required on this cat. So he's been doing weekly visits this whole time I'm going to assume, or it's just that new cat smell that he's spoiling the fuck out of it?

I'm no expert so I won't give any speculations, but could any cat autists out there might be able to actually tell Jaspers approx. age based on a lot of factors possibly?

Why would DSP take pictures of the cat when he can't share them? He has no friends, Kat is in the same room as him when he takes the pictures. Maybe his mom would like to see them but they're old and probably don't know what a text message is (he schedules weekly Sunday phone calls with them).
Never underestimate Phil's selfishness and laziness.

A one year old cat if pretty much fully grown. Only changes in appearance would be girth from treats and access to different foods as shelters portion out as little dryfood as they can legally get away with while maintaining the health of the animals in their care.
Speaking of catfood, D$P mixes his narrative here as well: He buys "the cheap stuff" while buying fancy "whole meat wet food with shrimp and bits of fish". Those 'real meat' varieties aren't cheap. Moreover, after 9+months, they should have already settled on a brand of food the cat likes not still "buying food for him to try". Continually changing up what a cat is fed has long been known to lead to the popular misconception of cats being 'finicky eaters'. The shelter and the vet would have advised them about this issue and that changes to a cat's diet should be done gradually for this reason. They are either patently ignoring the advice given to them by professionals....or the cat is newer to the home than he claims.

Yea, I’d also want to assume he was using the pet store as cover up for already having the cat and was picking up toys or half truth

Yeah this is also a thing I noticed too. He's making weekly trips still to the pet store for Jasper to try premium shit? If it's been a year wouldn't you have established a based routine or diet for your cat by now that you wouldn't experiment at this phase. When he says he gets things cheap or his parents/mom pays for shit, he's pretty much bullshitting and deflecting any thought and hes spending more than he leads on/not as broke as you think.

My cat is 11 years old and is lazy as shit so my memory is shot for how she acted around the age Phil claims his cat to be. Nigga doesn't even know its birthday but says its April. Like it was just April not too long ago so you would think he would be a bit more confident that it was that birthday unless he has some scheming going on with Taxes and Jasper birthday aligning.

My guess is Phil was hinting with the visits while trying to stay secretive but probably laughing to himself cuz he thought we didn’t know, even though it was pretty obvious.

He figured “I have a khet but these dummies think I’m still crying broke.”

Unless Je$ter was surrender to the shelter with his mother as part of a litter, the month in which he was born would be next to impossible to determine with any accuracy as it could be a fully grown cat that is small or a 10-11 month old cat that may continue to grow. This whole 'lost paperwork' thing seems far fetched as well. The Washington State shelter knows which shelter this 'transfer' came from. It would only take a few clicks of a mouse to replace the 'lost' vet records. Additionally, this would be important for them to have the animal's vaccination records as well as the results of the cat's FeLV test which are mandatory. Shelters are not swimming in cash and would not forego obtaining the original records opting instead to pay for this transfer cat to be retested on their limited funds.

Also they've had the cat for almost a year and they are still buying cat toys? How do you not have cat toys and still need to buy them after a year? It's a cat. Wad up a piece of paper and throw it on the ground, tie a piece of yarn to a stick, buy 1 laser pointer, leave an empty cardboard box sitting somewhere, maybe buy a pack of little stuffed toys with catnip sewn in shaped like mice.

Although Phil does seem like the type to have $300 worth of cat toy devices laying around that his cat just ignores, I can't imagine needing to go out and buy more shit for the cat to ignore after a year. Why doesn't he already have cat toys?

DSP was retelling the jasper adoption story to triple down on how much of a mentally ill conspiracy theorist the detractors are, saying that jasper, in addition to being declawed, was also not a kitten, which is what people want to adopt because DSP is suddenly a guru on pet adopting. He was 2 years old and declawed so a reject at the shelter and no one wanted him until honorable and charitable DSP came in to saved his life.
 
Is it true declawed cats are unwanted? I mean, people pay hundreds (thousands?) of dollars to get their cat declawed, so for some people adopting a pre-declawed cat is probably a bonus. At worst, it's a non-factor because.. who cares? A declawed cat isn't like adopting an autistic child. There's nothing more difficult about owning a declawed cat over a clawed one.

They tend to be bitier and more stressed, but my experience is they're just as loved usually. Also you will be shocked at how dumb pet owners and those who give up pets can be. I can buy a declawed cat going up for adoption due to any real reason.

I don't care about Pig being cagey and trying to prove a gotcha with him since the faggots unable to be honest or have the balls to speak straight; I just will laugh as he hid this purchase at all to grift people with mental disabilities. I will just laugh as this was probably a requirement for him to accept Jasper. I will just laugh that Pig is bugging this cat when he sleeps to show him off as a toy like the baby he is.

Some people like to let their cats out and let them do cat things so claws are pretty important there. A plus for outdoor cats is you don't have to really give a shit as much for a litter box.

Cats usually like to claw shit to destress and stimulate themselves so without claws they do the whole kneading thing.

In my opinion it's a really terrible idea and practice in general. Just imaging myself having knubs as fingers trying to catch a stupid string sounds frustrating on its own.

Pfffft! It was mandatory for her to have done that and a darn good thing she learned her lesson after refusing his demand for that Wolverine toy. If she had failed to buy the Mario 64 he'd have had every right to notify Family Services and have her butt hauled off to jail for repeated and heinous acts of child abuse!
