Yeah, it wasn't me who blocked the name out, it was the screengrab I found. Doesn't look like anyone managed to nab the tweet itself, RIP.

Ah, respectfully I would prefer not to be doxxed on here too... but I have no power to make you remove it. The tweet has already been archived and screenshotted thousands of times - and most people have taken it down and put up the redacted version - but there are people out there now looking for me, as they've contacted my employer, etc. already.

She tried to double down by claiming he doxxed her first

...she really is stupid.
(This tweet was also deleted before archiving, sadly)

I would guess this will look absolutely terrible for her in court. The power imbalance is off the scale and her idea of doxing seems to be completely inaccurate (receiving a letter/phonecall from someone previously unknown?) and entirely different to what she's done in response.

She has DFE'd all her tweets referencing this. Does she have a legal team? Seems much more likely she's been told to be quiet than decided to.

another screenshot nabbed off Twitter which speaks volumes:

20230603_000203.jpg

Literal child mentality. It's equal parts hysterical and despicable. How do these sorts always explicitly say, "no look, it's okay when I do it!!"?

Legal Gengar has locked his account, last few tweets seemed to be him panicking about his employer being contacted. To be blunt, this felt kind of inevitable - but hang in there, bud. Your Twitter has a pretty cut and dry account of things so hopefully your employer will wave it off as weird Internet drama.

Also, I can't access Tattle. Are they any good at archiving stuff? I think sadly us farmers were otherwise occupied this evening and didn't get to catch anything.

Does she think it's illegal to learn someone else's address or phone number? How does she expect anyone to do anything? She's not young enough to not remember phone books, even the UK had them so that's no excuse.

I remember many years ago when someone introduced me to the concept of fractal wrongness:
Fractal wrongness is the state of being wrong at every conceivable scale of resolution. That is, from a distance, a fractally wrong person's worldview is incorrect; and furthermore, if you zoom in on any small part of that person's worldview, that part is just as wrong as the whole worldview.
I'd say this perfectly encapsulates Jack, except in her case I'd go a step further and suggest it's actually fractal stupidity, she's not just wrong at every level, she's also a moron. Let's break her tweet down
1)While he has posted a redacted copy of his degree, Gengar has specifically, and repeatedly stated he is not a legal practitioner.
2)If he hasn't provided a way to pay, that seems like the sort of thing you might want to let the court know
3)I'm not 100% sure on legal requirements in the UK, but in a lot of places it's entirely fine to use a business address for legal purposes as long as you can be contacted at and respond to shit sent to that address. Given she fucking doxxed him that seems like it might have been a smart precaution (similar to how Deer Feeder uses a registered agent to avoid the trannies)
4)Regardless of why Gengar signed up, the promises were still in place on Patreon. If she knew she was behind on rewards then why not pause them? Or at least let pledges know you're behind? I mean how are legit pledges supposed to know she's miles behind on fulfilments?
5)So she'll take money to a place he might be, but she won't send a simple form to the fucking Court to say she'll pay?

She tried to double down by claiming he doxxed her first
Not only is Gengar calling and writing not actually fucking doxxing, it's literally mandated as part of the fucking legal process.

She has DFE'd all her tweets referencing this. Does she have a legal team? Seems much more likely she's been told to be quiet than decided to.
I doubt she has a legal team, but wouldn't surprise me if either one of her beta orbiters, or one of the legal folks she follows has explained that she's a fucking mong and instead of spazzing out on Twitter she'd accomplish infinitely more by actually taking part in the fucking legal process.

@Legal Gengar Keep your chin up dude. You're doing an objectively good thing by exposing this lying cunt. Moreover you've not done anything wrong in the way you've gone about this either. Trust me, if I were in your position I'd have posted every single form online, I'd have hired a fucking TV crew to make a documentary of every single step and her reaction and then sold fucking tickets and popcorn to the Tattlers.

This seems like a good way of (Jack) getting sued since she’s making shit up to go along with her victim complex.

Sorry she’s such a cunt @Legal Gengar, hope you don’t have too much trouble from her flying monkeys.

Hope your employer is sensible about it.
me too.

just wanted to say for the yanks that without knowing the details of @Legal Gengar's employment, it is unlikely to have any serious consequences (i.e. loss of job). if he is on a permanent contract, not on probation, and not already in a disciplinary process, then it would be difficult to fire him. doing so for anything not related to his job performance would be setting his emplyer up for a tribunal. we don't have "at will" employment here unless you're in a temp job or contracting. they could react negatively by denying progression opportunities and pay rises, which would be harder to prove in a tribunal. obviously just them having been contacted is extremely uncomfortable and i hope they are decent about it,

Love that "Fractal wrongness" @East_Clintwood, its perfect for so many of our lolcows and definitely fits Jack.

I wish this was true, but a lot of employment rights only kick in once you've been in the job for two years — importantly, given the situation, the ability to file a tribunal claim for unfair dismissal.

I hope your employer is sensible about this, @Legal Gengar , but you would do well to remember that you can be accompanied to a disciplinary meeting by a trade union rep (or official) even if your employer doesn't recognise a trade union generally. Unite, CWU and Prospect all cover the IT sector (all specifically including programmers). Unite and CWU reps generally have a very low tolerance for any employer silliness.

Anyway! Here's some of Jack's now-deleted tweets from yesterday:

I believe we can say with confidence at this point that Jack Monroe has disclosed more personal information about @Legal Gengar than he has about her.

It's scary as for me as well, the person who this has been happening to for 10 years now. Trolls writing to my home address, getting my mobile number no matter how much I change it, maps pinpointing where | & my child live... What I did wasn't right, but I'm broken by all of this.

The replies from others are pretty good: "I don't get why you'd do that"; "The fact someone else may have broken the rules doesn't mean it's OK for you to do so in return. Are you an adult or a two-year old?". All has the vibe of an unrepentent child being scolded by a parent.

I am grateful for all of your responses. I am an authorised trade union representative, so well aware of employment law, right to be accompanied, etc. but appreciate it all the same.

My employer has confirmed that I am not at risk, once the full facts were established and I explained my side.

I have spoken with the police and they have issued me with advice. There is a concern that things will escalate between now and the 14th June - the day of the hearing. This is because she clearly attempted to intimidate me into deleting my account and withdrawing from the judicial process. She said to me on the phone that she was prepared to ambush me at court and force me to take cash before the hearing, to prevent it from happening.

Regarding the subsequent tweets AFTER I spoke to her on the phone, they are defamatory and I am seeking legal advice on next steps to deal with them. To be clear: I got her phone number from the process servers when they tried to give her the court order. She wasn't in the first time they showed up, so they left a letter of appointment. She rang the number on it to try and get my details, and they explained that it would be best if she met with the agent (process server) to accept the paperwork. They then forwarded me her number as part of their status report. I didn't ask for it, or go looking.

I called her in a panic because I didn't know how else to contact her immediately. The phone call went something like this:

"Hi, is this Ms Monroe?"
"Yes, why?"
"It's <creditor name>. You just named me on Twitter, and I want you to take down the Tweet."
"How did you get this number?!"
"The process servers who served the court order on you gave it to me."

She tried the "woe is me" approach first complaining about how she was being harassed over her appearance on BBC Question Time, kept apologising and asking me if I would drop the case for an "easy, stress-free, peaceful life" and complained how "preposterous" the whole thing was, and then ended up threatening me to take payment and end the case before the hearing. She also said I "won't get what you want from this" as she has no intention of providing the financial documents (PayPal and Patreon) that the court order demands. That is a contempt of court.

I simply hope she does not perjure herself during oral questioning under oath - that would be a criminal offence.

I have reported the matter to the Court and will be pursuing it as an aggravating feature in her conduct, and my costs, etc. If I had the time, I would ask for the case to be reassigned to a judge in open court but it's too late for that now.

excellent. i hope she doesn't instantly block all detractors, its quite sad to see someone destroying their reputation by lashing out so i hope she takes it on board. she's a cow though so probably won't.

My employer has confirmed that I am not at risk, once the full facts were established and I explained
this is such a relief to hear, well done for standing your ground and i hope this situation isn't causing you too much stress. she really is digging herself a massive hole and i hope the judge takes on board the full extent of her unreasonable behaviour.

God, it would be fucking incredible to see her get slapped with a libel/defamation charge after how long she's crowed about the Katie Hopkins thing. (I am neither advocating nor expecting for this to happen, just enjoying the thought.)

Like frap said, she must seriously not want to disclose her finances if she's going to such lengths to circumvent this. It also speaks volumes about the size of her ego that she ignored this for this long before going all out destruction mode. The walls are closing in, huh?

@Legal Gengar, glad you know your rights and hopefully you don't get any more shit between now and the 14th. Did you record that phone call? Not expecting you to post it or anything, just curious.

Trudged through 50 pages of Tattle to spare you the ordeal of their hand-wringing over exactly which law Jack's doxXxing broke, and whether the 2.5kg of cheese one of their husbands bought down the pub was shoplifted.

They did have a couple of good spots, though. Here's another one of Jack's deleted tweets from yesterday, where she claims that @Legal Gengar "extensively doxxed" her:

With all due respect, I don't need to do anything that you demand. He extensively doxed me, writing to my HOME ADDRESS, calling my PERSONAL PHONE. I tweeted his name in a moment of anger, deleted it, and apologised. The rest is between us, not the clown court of social media.

While I 100% understand why you personally don't see any humour in it, and are rightfully taking it seriously, I personally now have this mental image of Jack chasing you round the court with a handful of banknotes desperately trying to make you take them, possibly with some yakkety sax in the background.

Regarding the subsequent tweets AFTER I spoke to her on the phone, they are defamatory and I am seeking legal advice on next steps to deal with them
Just remember if you do go the legal route, don't forget to crowdfund a load of money directly to your paypal, then not actually sue, and then refuse to answer questions about it...

and whether the 2.5kg of cheese one of their husbands bought down the pub was shoplifted.
I thought it was commonly understood, and accepted, that everything bought in a pub is stolen goods, why the fuck else would you be buying shit in there?

Typical Tattlers and internet trolls. Seeing Jack yet again with something pointlessly expensive and assuming she bought it herself, just because she's a self-admitted spendthrift. I mean did any of you people even consider the possibility that she just found them lying in the street? Or that she was caused by an evil witch and now she's forever stuck wearing them as some sort of ironic twist of fate punishment. No of course not you just took the easy way out and assumed the spendy-spender went and spent everyone else's money on them, for shame
