You realize divorced women can keep their married name right?

Edit; or did I misunderstand your question?
Oh yeah she can, but it is possible she changed it back after a divorce. I know a few woman who have done that, especially if the ex husband and they aren't on good terms. There's also the chance they were never married at all.

According to the wiki Richard's last name is not Connors, but there is no source for this. Any mention of divorce seems to be just speculation.

I don't buy it. The age seems wrong, and this guy is a big Catholic (has won Catholic service awards) which seems like a weird fit with Gail's evangelical Protestantism.
Do we know for certain that Gail is a Protestant? Jace insists that they are Catholic, but I guess that could just be him conflating Catholic and Christian. I guess it also doesn't make sense for Catholics to have a pastor.

Even stranger, most Evangelicals don't consider Catholics to be real Christians, so it would be an odd mistake for him to make.

Jace knows about as much about religion as Chris does, so take everything he says about it with a pinch of salt.

The article dijo:
The man told police he then saw Connors pointing a handgun and Mace at him, according to the prosecutor.

Duel wielding, that's all the evidence I need. In his defense, he might have been unsure whether the other guy was Makarov.

What will seal it for sure is if it wasn't chemical mace, but an actual mace crudely taped together from items found around the house.

Jace has unerringly referred to himself and his mother as "Catholic" for a long, long time. I have no idea where you got the idea of protestantism.

Because everyone referred to the clergyman Gail kept bringing in as "Pastor" rather than "Father". Also "Jesus Camp." I wrongly assumed those were Gail's terms rather than terms Jacewatchers used.

Thanks for the correction!

Well, then the question is if he considers being catholic any diffrent from Christianity, or if its a bizarre love/hate deal (which it probably is)

Jace himself keeps talking (usually screaming) about a "Pastor Faggot" interfering in his life as a stoner-gamer-future-marine-parkour-expert or whatever the dickless little suburban twat is calling himself this week. It wouldn't be terribly unusual for a Catholic to call a priest "pastor" instead of "father" - though devout Catholics would certainly use the latter. Maybe it's a regional thing? Like calling soft drinks 'soda' and 'pop'.

The one thing I'd say in response to that (other than the points already brought up regarding pastor faggot and jesus camp) is that Jace's understanding of religion is foggy at best. Until we hear confirmation from Gail I'm gonna have to say there's a good chance he's full of shit.

I grew up in Central Mass. and even the least observant Catholics called priests "Father" there without exception. Same in New Hampshire, where I had lots of family. Of course, Jace is an idiot who doesn't English good.

The other reason I doubt the Lynn man is Jace's dad is that he and his wife have a 30-year-old son.

Indeed, I thought we established that Jace mom was Episcopalian? I already mentioned how bizarre it is his mom goes to an episcopal church despite seemingly having almost every view in conflict with it.

Pastor is the correct term for episcopal but incorrect for catholic. It's possible jace would screw this up, but not his mother.
