The point is that it kind of doesn't appeal to anyone.
I doubt anyone's ever managed to sit through some of the 17 hour long nutshack remixes.

I find it mildly hilarious that the overwhelming majority of Kiwifarms thinks Dickman is the best character. It's not even close, he's flat out destroying everyone else in the poll.

He has some of the best moments and lines in the show.
Then again you need to get past the awkward animation and obnoxious voice acting of the rest of the cast to witness those moments.
Desensitize yourself and face Nutshack.

So who was this show intended for? I read it was made to "appeal to filipino-americans" but shit all my filipino family wouldn't watch this and they subscribe to a filipino channel that's obsessed with this one kid and has soap operas with cartoon sound effects (that is not a joke)

MyX was basically like early MTV, but aimed at Asians. They decided to copy MTV some more and get their own cartoon.
Of course, the fact that they're a fucking channel that was aimed at the Asian-American music video audience sort of limited their channel's appeal, and hence their budget.

Pretty much what Splendid Meat Sticks has said. It was MyX attempting at a show for Asian-Americans by Asian-Americans. Then again, that attempt was successful enough that some YT comments say they're ashamed to be Filipino when considering what ethnic group was behind this cartoon. When the show manages to get the distaste of an audience you are aiming for, you know you fucked up. Still, as crap as this show is, the fact you have some mockeries of it can make it funny but even that will lose its appeal.

Looking at the Nutshack Archive...the show should've been done traditionally. This is decent art put to waste for absolutely nothing.
