An episode is now in glorious 60 frames per second.

i just checked out the animator's vimeo, and holy shit. his 2014 portfolio includes scenes from the nutshack. stuff that was animated as far back as 2006. there also seems to be very little improvement, if any. i think they're still proud of it.
The Nutshack clips used here are all from season 2 I think, which was released in 2011.

Holy fuck, I thought The Nutshack was a movie at first.
There should be a movie.

Updated the OP. I was just looking through more of the Nutshack intro edits and my head is spinning just processing how many of them are out right now. Eziam One and scream skelly gore seem to make the most.

Here's a good remix.

yeah, but the quality is just as bad as season 1. i don't know if they're just incapable of improvement, or it might be laziness, or some combination of the two.
the best thing to come out of the show is all the parody videos and remixes, and that's really sad.

It was entertaining to watch when nothing else was on. It's horrible in so many ways yet kinda endearing in it's awfulness. You can tell there was an attempt at something and it can actually be amusing at times.

Última edición:
This is one of those shows that, when you mention it to well-adjusted people, you sound like you're recalling a trippy ass false memory.
Oh Trust me, I know the feeling. I nearly completely forgot this show existed and for years I just assumed it was just like a weird fever dream I had once.

I don't know if anyone knows this but the Jesse Hernandez guy is actually kinda a famous artist that usually tends to work with companies that sell those vinyl art figures. I was actually kinda shocked at first to discover it was in fact the same exact Jesse Hernandez and not just another guy with the same exact name.
His physical non-nutshack work is honestly stunning.

Also there's this.

Thanks @Jaiman for this.

I had to post this.

i wonder if the creators of the show ever responded to the criticism the show has received? i know they did a season 1 retrospective video but that wasn't really in response to anyone else.

This was literally all I could find RE responding to criticism:

Am I the only one that noticed that Jack and Tito Dick have a different voice actor in season 2?
Tito was annoyingly different. Also, instead of changing Horatio's voice to be actually comprehensible, they stuck with putting subtitles on all of his dialogue in season two.

I'm a little more amazed they thought to do that for season 2, and not for the entire series. Considering how incomprehensible that filter makes his actor sound.
