Apparently the original meme had to do with this basketball player who is six feet and seven inches in height. For whatever reason the mention of his height became a point of fixation, where a regular clip where someone would say "six seven" would suddenly cut to a tiktok edit about the player. Then some retard kid made a hand gesture and it mutated into its final form as the "deadest meme of all time".

I thought it was a Twitch/TikTok streamer meme because years ago, streamers would poll their chatrooms by saying "type 1 if..." "type a 2 if..." but then 123 got a bit boring, and sometimes chatters would throw random numbers that aren't the poll options being asked.

And from there I thought TikTokers had gotten used to "chat, type 6 if you want X or type 7 if you want Y", and then 67 took off from there. And I thought the hand gesture was like, weighing option A vs option B.
Then 67 blew up into its own lolsorandumb meme. I never heard of a 6'7" player but I wouldn't be surprised if that was the actual origin and I'm wrong lol.
