I wonder if Trump realises the mistake he has made. JPCOA did largely work in halting progress towards a nuclear weapon and it cost only $1.7bn. This apparent new deal will mean overall paying hundreds of millions to Iran for the IRGC aren't going to consider any deal that keeps their property empire inaccessible (like the gaytollah's two apartments in Kensington Palace Gardens on the same street in London as Israel's embassy) and not fungible or denies them access to European bank accounts holding oil sales. A payment of $25bn (already far more than Obama's $1.7bn) is honestly just a taster. Senator Jack Reed's comments was izzat sapping for Trump on his home territory. There's no doubt the US Navy and Airforce can batter anything the mullahs throw at them, but they've been thrown into a poorly thought out operation.

I hate to be one of the "Drumpf = Hitler" drooling niggers, but this whole ordeal has reminded me a lot of Hitler's leadership/managerial style where the last person to talk to him would be the one to get their way.
His cabinet frequently broke down into factions, and it seemed most of their time was spent trying to outmaneuver the other faction or tard wrangle Hitler.
Routinely, Hitler would give an order after consulting with, say, Albert Speer and Joseph Goebbels only to suddenly have him announce something completely different after Goering slimed his way into a private meeting with him.
In Trump's case he seemingly has these retarded goals and metrics that only make sense to him. He also, in my opinion, does not want to put Americans in jeopardy and he doesn't like the optics of civilian casualties. He wanted a very clean bombing -> civilian revolt -> regime overthrown campaign and when it became apparent that it would be a multi-month effort with no guarantees he soured on it.
tl;dr leading is hard but allowing all these people to change your mind from minute to minute is fucking weak

I agree. Trump is 80 now and this who fiasco shows its harder for him to keep up. The Iran crisis has so many moving parts. So the GCCs convince him of XYZ, Pakistan appeals to his izzat with ABC, Hegseth and Caine say HIJ, Grok and ChatGPT say QRS, and Witkoff proposes EDF. Its a clusterfuck.
I still can't understand this part. I think the Kurds and Turkey is cope for cowardice for not taking Israels advice and arming civilians directly in Tehran because Trump thought it wasn't going to be necessary. How did anyone expect the Kurds to mount an army and travel on their own for days to reach Tehran?

He previously claimed that he was against using the Kurds because he predicted they would just keep the weapons, which they did.
Afterwards, he stopped Bibi from ordering a mass civilian uprising, since it would likely just result in another massacre.
The problem is that there is no central, organized resistance force within the country, and any real attempt to generate one would likely just result in the regime killing the Internet for a few days while they round up all the leadership.
