I've googled quite a few mythological creatures throughout my life and I swear the US got the wackiest ones. Not like "the mothman" or "the dog that is kinda big and mean", but cults meeting inside mountains? Seems to be a very common trope. I guess it's just a schizo offspring of people who believe in the deep state. Why not say they meet in the wild rather than an office at work the public can't access anyway?
All things considered I live in the first world, but I genuinely believe they're shittying up the public health sector that it may be privatized, which isn't as common as in the US and thus bordering on conspiracy.
I did a bunch of schizo conspiracy mining for a game project where I was really trying to dig into the DUMB (deep underground military base) concept. Because, like, there's totally enough ACTUAL paper trail to at least get your creative juices flowing, but basically ALL of the conspiracy narratives are outright nonsensical and retarded and just seem to exist to create semantic confusion about the phrase "deep state" as if it was a literal government operating underground
Like the whole dulce base conspiracy AND the cattle mutilation in the 70s was the government making shit up to cover up underground nuclear testing (project gasbuggy) and tissue samples surrupticiously taken from local livestock. also just general run of the mill UFO fearmongering to cover up for aerospace testing in area 51 for the then-contemporary spooky triangles
And yet, there's a giant underground storage facility in springfield missouri that nobody really gives a fuck about despite it being a massive logistics and shipping hub built into the limestone. they literally never stop quarrying that fucking thing out and there's videos of the inside of it and it stretches for LITERAL MILES. The place gets so much traffic it's not something you could stake out. If there's some kind of underground rail network it's certainly connected to it.
The denver airport is pretty obviously connected to some kind of military defense infrastructure underground. They're open about the maintenance tunnels and storage existing but it is kind of bizarre that the largest international airport in the country just has all of this extra space and bloat in an industry famously reliant on low overhead. If there was some kind of bunker system under the rockies, it would be connected to denver international. I mean, the Cheyenne complex is 100 miles away from the denver airport. How unreasonable is it that they built a secret tunnel?
The government built elaborate continuity-of-government bunkers during the cold war that could survive direct nuclear blasts that were put on display after they were decomissioned. I think it's unreasonable to assume they decomissioned them without a viable replacement.
The deep state is real and they're covering it up
