Dude, someone already wrote The Handmaid's Tale.I plan on writing a sci-fi story about an incel caliphate ruling over the United States.

The sperg and incel overlap is absolutely huge. They aren't just dateless, they are without any friends in real life in many cases. Many are working low wage jobs or supported by their parents income. If any group has ''nothing to lose'' it would many of them. Of any internet subculture members acting violently in real life they're about the most likely to do it.
So what can be done about this issue?
Not sure if it's worth pointing out but my family still makes fun of me to this day for going to sit with him at the football game even though they encouraged me to as to not be rude. Also he came to my graduation (hes a year above me so had already graduated) and photobombed a bunch my of my family photos and forced me to take pictures with him. He used to work at the local Walmart and always run up to me and force a hug. Many times I would be shopping with my mom and she would have to hold in her laughs. For my family to still laugh about him should give you an idea of how bad he looks. Not sure if this is the right thread but...
9 years ago I went to an archery program after school that was provided by the school. There was about 20 people there and a guy 1 year older than me decided to force his acquaintance. I'm not a rude person and I dont judge people based on superficial things such as looks or clothes. We remain as somewhat friends for the duration of the archery program. I already had a group of friends in school so would always hangout with them. My brother played football and I would never go to sporting events but my whole family decided to go to this game as it was his last game of his senior year. I was sitting with my family and the guy from archery (we'll call him "CAL") came up to me and proceeds to ask me to sit with him. I agree and I begin walking to the student section, i look back at my family to see them laughing because of his appearance. I'll just say hes a basic overweight guy with a neckbeard and pimples. We become better friends and he begins constantly coming up to me at school. We end up going to the same community college and he becomes weirder than what I already knew he was. He begins using the phrase "gimme cheesecake" and "I want cheese" every time he sees me on campus and proceeds to lick me. I recall running into the bathroom on one occasion because he tried to lick my face. HE FOLLOWED ME INTO THE WOMENS BATHROOM. Anyways after the weird encounters I begin to ignore him and to this day he still messages me on Facebook. I can provide messages but I dont know if this is the right place. I would 100% say hes a incel.
the issue is caused by so many deep-set societal problems coming together, it's basically impossibly to come up with a specific solution. fixing it would have to involve a massive and collective change of attitudes and views among the wider population ("normies") which realistically isn't ever going to happen unless some extreme form of upheaval happens and rocks the very foundations of our societyThe sperg and incel overlap is absolutely huge. I think it's the best of both worlds.Ahh yes. Incels are unhappy so the whole world needs to change for them. Not like they can do anything to pull themselves out of it.

The world isn't responsible for incels being psychos, they need to clean up their own act and get their head out of their asses
However society, in particular the media needs to quit some things that contribute to the incel mindset I. E. They have to get laid or else they're a loser, things like that. Not some massive upheavel though
That guy is fucking shredded holy shit. Just goes to show a little self-improvement and some confident dating strategy can overcome any obstacle. Was browsing the Russel Greer thread and found this guy, abandoned by his parents just like Greer, yet turned out completely opposite. Incels have no excuse, if you work hard on overcoming your faults instead of complaining you can find a decent partner.

it goes WAY deeper than surface level "dude just stop being lonely lmao" faux advice or "just make media less sexualized" ideasI think it's the best of both worlds.

like, people have mentioned before how shitty parenting is the source of much of this situation, in particular absent or cucked/weak fathers combined with domineering and abusive (and often single) mothers. how do you even begin to fix this? you'd have to look at the societal shifts that created all these dysfunctional broken homes in the first place, and these developments go back more than half a century so good luck fixing them.
and that's JUST the parenting side of things, which is part of the problem but not the whole story. in addition to that you'd also have to look at somehow curing the cancer that is contemporary pop culture and youth culture, as well as bringing overall gender relations out of the current near dystopian mess they are and back to something that is workable and functional
and it's not just about incels either: this overall situation churns out thoroughly ruined men by the truckload. some end up as incels, some become cucks who simp for twitch whores, some drown themselves in anime escapism and become waifu obsessed weebs, some go with the "failed as a man, try again as a girl" delusion and troon out - but the root causes, the core underlying issues, are almost exactly the same for all of these groups, and they run so deep that no amount of superficial platitudes and armchair advice will do anything about any of this
There are shitty parents everywhere. It's not just the blokes who get them, how about all the women who had shitty fathers? How about all the ruined women? The ones who go homeless or drug addicted because Daddy bashes their face in or touches them? How about the women who's Dad abandons them because he just had to go find a younger woman than her mother? It goes on.it goes WAY deeper than surface level "dude just stop being lonely lmao" faux advice or "just make media less sexualized" ideas

Could also be because of living in a single parent household with no father in sight. That would mess any child up when it comes to dating. But pointing this out would sound sexist to a lot of people because I'm putting most of the blame on the mom and not the absent father. And I'm not talking about the women who then went on to marry men who are not the father of their children and somehow makes it work. I'm talking about the ones who just can't seem to settle with any lone man so they jump from man to man and the relationships don't last that long. What lessons could her children even learn from her about dating besides what not to do? And even then the girls she's raising would more than likely make the same mistakes. And the boys would fare much worse since again no father in sight and their mother isn't exactly going to be able to give then any useful advice. Like all of her advice for her boys would be bad since she more than likely has a bitter attitude towards men.it goes WAY deeper than surface level "dude just stop being lonely lmao" faux advice or "just make media less sexualized" ideas
