Then went downstairs. Walked past several people including the confused old guy in white. Before opening fire on the Cops? It does sound more like this was setup to ambush the cops. If it wasn't for the Alberta claim (how accurate is that) it would almost make you think of the good old days of the FLQ.

There's no evidence it's related but an arrest was made at the mall across the highway from the shooting site. Police did release a "manhunt for a second shooter" notice before in the end resolving that and saying there was just the one, so it's anyone's guess.

This is montreal police, who are in league of their own. Montreal in the biker world is called The Red Zone because of its extreme violence. Canadian Bikers, especially in the Red Zone are considered to be heaviest in NA (ie the most violent). Many outlaw bikers wont even go to Montreal. IIRC the Outlaws looked into establishing a presence there, saw how violent it was and noped the fuck out. This was a city where bikers fought a war that cost over 160 dead and 180 injured. The cops there do not fuck around.
