And what would you do if your kid develops their own opinion which would be totally different from yours? Most parent don't want kids to have "their own opinion", they want them to have a "correct" opinion aka the same as the parents do.

raise your kids with the classics and good literature, encourage them to learn and read, that way when they grow up and try to rebel, they have a hard time relating to the retards around them.
