I'm not a Christian, but I believe taking kids to a church and Sunday school that teaches young-earth creationism, Biblical literalism, and sinners burning in hell is one of the absolute best tools for teaching critical thinking. A religious private school which teaches that doctrine is even better, although church is free. Provide actual science books and history books too as a compare/contrast. I don't even mean this in a smug atheist way either, even if I did have that phase when I was like 18-19, active engagement with religion is like a vaccination against crazy ideology, at least for me, since I can see the same dogmatic thinking among believers in critical theory, gender ideology, Covidians, etc. that I saw as a kid.
Sadly, this probably requires good parenting since I suspect all this approach does to the average NPC is turn them into euphoric cringelords who substitute Christianity for atheism, not someone who surpasses that and can genuinely think critically about ideology.
