Damn, with all the insanity, I'm not sure I even remember... I always remember seeing drag men for most of my life, and as a kid it was both comical and creepy (always a joke), but I never really considered it anything beyond that. A new identity, gender, or whatever. It was "Weird guys in dresses"...

When it actually became a thing, I think I just started to see more and more dumb feminists online in the 2010s with insane notions of "IF YOU BEWEIEVE YOU'RE WOMAN, THEN YOU WOMAN" and was like "They really are going THIS far?"

I hate becoming normalized to fucking insanity like this.
 
Worked at McD's and had to deliver an order to a table somewhere in a corner. When I arrived there, a depressed looking dude with long hair and female clothes was just sitting there on his phone completely ignorant to the world. I was so confused when I first saw him because to me, he looked like a fucking clown. Afterwards I talked to my dad about it and he said that the man was transgender.
Also, the first time I saw a fully clothed white female muslim was also at McD's, I saw lots of weird people there. The owners were some old boomers (that never worked except when they had to put up decorations) and their fat single middle aged daughter.
 
Hilarious daytime talkshows in the late 80's early 90's where they had beauty pageants in which the audience would pretend not to clock the 6"4" troon, or some retard was "unknowingly" dating a 6'4" troon, or the secret crush episodes where they'd roll out some hulking 6'4" tranny or homo and the crushee would shatter the crush. Good stuff.
 
The first would have been Jennifer Diane Reitz in the late 90s. He has a thread here and was the proto internet troon in the late 90s and very early 2000s. Everything before that were transvestites and crossdressers as punchlines. JDR was the first, "Holy shit this dude seriously thinks he's a woman" for me.
 
Aside from comedy trannies or gay men in drag, the first tranny I ever encountered was a niggerfaggot working at a department store. I had gone to pick up a pair of shoes my brother bought online for in-store pickup. I could immediately tell something was very off about the "woman" in front of me. It had five o'clock shadow with poorly applied make-up. It was wearing shitty weave that looked like the greasiest long hair I'd ever seen up to that point. The part that I'll never forget was the long, disgusting and dirty fingernails it had.

I did an incredibly poor job at hiding my disgust as I was taken aback when it hit me that trannies were real. I kept things curt and got out of there ASAP. This was around 2015 or 2016 and things have only gotten worse ever since (:_(
 
There were always dudes doing drag shit and putting on a dress for jokes, always saw them as walking memes and that they were lowkey gay at best and total fags in the closet, dont count transvestites as troons since they tend to switch back to being gay men sometimes and none of them want to cut their dicks off

Back then boomers would joke "she used to be a man!" but after seeing real troons idk how they could ever confuse these fucking ghouls for a woman, even an ugly one

Guess with boomers being on booze or drugs most of the time coupled with chainsmoking making them all look 20 years older is why some troons could pass back then

Kindergarten in the 2000s. One of my fellow students was this fat girl with a short bowl cut that wanted to be a boy so badly. She would constantly insist she was a boy and only socialize with boys. If she were to get grouped in with the girls in any way she'd throw a violent tantrum and push and throw things, so the teachers would give her what she wanted. She was rather violent and threw things around a lot. I have a vivid memory of her bringing in one of those old brick cell phones from the 90s for show and tell and throwing it across the room multiple times until it accidentally hit someone and was taken away. Nobody wanted to socialize with her because of how violent and weird she was, not because she wanted to be a boy. I think she stopped for a little bit, but then started doing it again. Eventually she was held back in kindergarten and even kicked out of the school for misconduct at some point. I think I remember seeing her again at some early point during middle school, she was moved to a public school, and she was transitioning to male with a name change and everything. This was before LGBT/TRA crud went out of control and exploded in the 2010s, so it was an early childhood transition. Don't know where she is now. ...I'm now wondering if this was foreshadowing.
 
I saw a documentary on intersexed and trans people, mostly talking bout the medical procedures that they went through. Mostly it was about the struggles that the intersexed people went through with trying to get proper surgery to fix what's down there. This documentary was done in the mid 90s I think, at the latest so these were individuals that had had a fast surgery done to fix ambiguous looking genitals. So most of it was just talking about how they were trying to fix their messed up junk, but that did segue in to talking about trans stuff. They had one Transwoman that had been transitioning for years and still looked like a man, and one Transman that looked ok because they were fat and hairy. I think the transman was one of the first to get the rot dog that can pee. I can't remember, but mostly I felt bad for the intersexed people. Looking back I think doctors were using trannies even back then as guinea pigs for genital reconstruction surgery to help intersexed or injured people.

I knew about transvestite and drag shows, I figured that was just shit gay men did. Now that I'm thinking about it, I saw another thing on one of those learning channels before they became all reality TV about the human brain and they even had a part talking about Woman and Male brains and how you can change one to the other. This was in the late 90s I think. I can't remember the exact quote but it did talk about hormones doing it. It was a really quick part of the show.

One of the first times I actually remember because it already weirded me out back then was when Israel won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1998 with a tranny named Dana International (and the song was called Diva). I was still pretty young (not a child, but young teenager) and I assume they still used the word "transsexual". I just remember that I found it unnatural and freaky when they said "she" was born a man.

Another case I remember vividly before I got blackpilled on trannies online was a TV report on a female German athlete (deadname Yvonne Buschbaum) who officially trooned out in 2008. She said something that just seemed deeply misogynistic to me, the typical "I was never a woman because I didn't enjoy (insert retarded stereotype)" pooners like to claim and something about "taking testosterone finally made those disgusting womanly emotions go away", basically the same way troons believe they start thinking/feeling like a woman the moment they take estrogen.

I didn't know any for real until the early 2010's when I became a Unitarian. He wasn't a bad guy but he was embroiled in all the Interweave (the church's LGBT club) drama. And lo, was there drama. As if anyone would be shocked.
 
One of the earliest winners of Big Brother UK was an MtF (apparently none of the contestants were told during filming, but the public had been).
 
Before troons there were transvestites or drag queens, who were weird gay men who dressed like women. I was probably 8/9 years old when I saw one on TV for the first time, I was really shocked.
But the first time I learned about transgenders was from a pooner on DeviantArt, probably in 2009. It's a pity I don't remember the name, but this was a chick who drew some mediocre comics about her life as a transman. She was what you would call a "truscum" now, I remember she gatekeeped a lot and complained about women who claimed to be trans while looking femenine.
 
From derogative terms being passed around the internet in the early 2000s as well as the infamous image of a male troon with a blonde wig and red dress lurking in a dark corner.

We need to go back to shaming and making fun of troons. Respecting them has only led us to disaster.
 
Earliest I can remember was in Elementary school, when there was a rumor that our music teacher used to be a man. I don't think it was true at all, as she was probably in her 60s and didn't seem masculine at all.

I did grow up in LA, so that was probably not my first experience.

Technically true, though unlike many of the troons we see today Cossey actually has a medically diagnosed genetic condition known as XXXY Syndrome. Which I think makes a at least a little difference over just being mentally ill/brainwashed.

As for the thread question, the earliest I can recall is browsing 4chan and seeing a post about Linetrap, aka Bailey Jay. Prior to that I was aware of crossdressers due to Monty Python, but I thought it was just something British men did to be funny.
