Helldivers 2 - Hell is more diverse than ever as PlayStation's demographics continue to grow and change.

If this was the case they wouldn't have strategems be so easy to deploy. It would require awaiting authorization and constantly updating the target so that it can be delivered effectively. You would be a SEAF grunt, not spec ops (which is just a grunt that bothered to apply) with carte blanch to command your own ship to do whatever you want. It's well known that Arrowhead is seemingly schizophrenic and the head that wants the hardcore grunt fantasy acquiesces to Sony and the head that wants to balance for the sake of fun (and thus player enjoyment) when the players shout loudly enough, only to try something else a month later. People thought the PSN debacle was the biggest hurdle of the game but at this point that's small potatoes. PSN was essentially bureaucratic-type corporate fuckery, this is just developers refusing to fully accept what the players want. And I get that, because when your vision gets tarnished and casualized in chasing popularity it feels hollow, like how DBD went from a sort of grungy actual asymm horror game to basically a party game where the survivors actively taunt and bully the killer (ignore that bhvr today are massive faggots).

The problem is that Helldivers wasn't even its intended vision from Go, and that's why it was so popular. If it was the actual hardcore game they wanted it would've had a nice crop of players who enjoy that and be it, around the numbers it has now. Instead we went from insanely good numbers to what we have now as a matter of poor decisions.
As we all know, the US military is completely willing to airdrop heavy armor for singular soldiers in the middle of a firefight.

The 500kg has been long overdue for a buff with how inconsistent it is these days, I find myself using the strafing run and the rocket pods more with its recent buff.
I exclusively use it because its the biggest single bomb Eagle One will drop for me, and literally no other reason. I don't even think its that good.

Also, I read the news post on Steam regarding the new FRV coming to everyone in October, and I will say, the glazedivers are the most insufferable retards I have ever read.

"Oh, boo hoo, you have to wait like 4 months for the new equipment, all you had to do was sign on and play, why are you bitching about FOMO?"

Hey, faggots, I got shit to do. I don't want to have to play this game on a set schedule. I don't think I should have un-unlockable content just because I didn't want to play the game every time Arrowhead wanted me to. If I wanted to get bossed around and treated like a retard, I'd just go to work.

Also, I do think its funny how people are celebrating the super credit hacks getting patched.

1. If you were "earning" them in game, you contributed just as much financially whether you hacked them or not.
2. You already paid for the game you stupid fuck, stop lauding devs for locking content behind micro-transactions, just because theoretically you can grind out the $250 worth of SC (or whatever amount it's up to now).

They also didn't bother to announce the update on Steam. I had no clue that they had even added anything until after it was gone.

How are people claiming to be unlocking warbonds ultra quick by just getting credits from playing the game?

I have 234 hours into the game and go out of my way to look for points of interest and I only have 3 warbonds unlocked so far with enough credits for a 4th one. Everyone acts like you should have every single warbond unlocked plus an additional 5k credits saved up within 200 hours.

Is it people being retarded or am I the retard? It feels way grindier than what people claim unless you're going out of your way to spend 30 hours farming level 1 missions

I genuinely think it's cope from superfans trying to paint the game and Arrowhead as not being greedy somehow. Acting as if grinding out Super Credits isn't the soul sucking boring as fuck niggerhell that it is and it's okay that the game only has one free Warbond because technically everything is free because you can find credits every 30 minutes if you play normally! Even with the Super Credit beam mod it takes around an hour or more to find enough for one Warbond if you have some credits left over from other ones, it's not a fun way to unlock shit.

I want to get the mod but I'm always afraid they're gonna start nuking accounts over it

On a side note I wouldn't even mind the grind so much if it was more consistent and actually fun. Giving a small amount of super shekels for completing games and doing objectives would be nice. I'm comparing apples to oranges here but I remember Planetside 2 (rip) slowly gave you currency for doing just about anything. Kill stuff, repair stuff, damage enemies, etc. made the game feel less grindy than what it actually was because you were getting a constant stream of currency. In Helldivers you gotta play running simulator to find it in obscure locations.

I have all the warbonds from grinding, and anyone who said they did it passively is a liar, or has an ungodly playtime.

I just did it whenever I had a bunch of movies I wanted to watch, and just did that while grinding lvl 3 missions.

Also forgot to ask did the game's optimization tank sometime recently?

My old rig was a ryzen 9 3900x, 16gb ram and a rtx 2070 super and I ran it fine on high settings. My new computer is a rtx 5070, 32gb ram and a ryzen 7 5800xt. Somehow I'm getting worse performance and my CPU is pinned at 50% usage sitting in the ship alone

Seems to be specifically the CPU eating shit when ever I play this game.

Just find a Chinese player and they’ll spawn enough SC where you’ll be set for the next couple warbonds like I did.

Thanks random chink, I don’t have to pay for the next 20 warbonds thanks to you

I have all the war bonds and 2000 SC except the crossovers. I did it 3 ways.

1: bought 2100 super credits at the beginning. I was enjoying the game so it felt like a tip to the devs.
2: the super credit arrow mod. I just played normally and picked up all the stashes (I think this is broken now)
3: some Chinese players joined my mission and when I finished I had 3000 more super credits. I didn’t see anything out of the ordinary, I didn’t even notice it until the next time I started the game.

I loved that mod so much. I would naturally loot goblin the map and having that sucker around just make everything so much faster as I was playing.

I haven't played in like a week or two but the version that marks every resource (samples, req slips, medals) along with the Super Credits doesn't work anymore, just randomly broke one day. The version of the mod that is JUST Super Credit beams without any other options (besides color of the beam) works perfectly fine and it's still up on RPGHQ.

The Warhammer 40K legendary warbond is releasing on August 12th.

I'm a fan of 40k and this looks like shit, the kasrkin armor set (the green one) looks nice but that's about it.

I don't care fore Halo so I didn't get any hype nor the following disappointment when their legendary warbond came out, to the poeple who are fans of Halo did that one at least look cool or no?

I liked the Halo sets aesthetically, they look like the ODST armor, though the visor's color seemed a bit off. I think it needed to be more reflective.

I joked ages ago that they should do that crossover because the base Helldiver armor was basically the ODST set already so really it would just be a palette swap.

I liked that the guns felt just like they did in the Halo games, but unfortunately, they don't feel nearly as useful in the Helldivers combat setting as they did in their native ODST, the shotgun should definitely have been med-pen.

The Kasrkin armour is passable, the melta is good in looks, let's see if it does what it's supposed to in game. The bolt pistol needs to be medium pen or it's useless. The rest is pretty trash.
