Giving Hooded Justice an Identity is wrong. Listen to what I said , I didn’t say don’t make him black, I'm saying don’t give him a face behind the mask .The reason Moore and Gibbons never revealed who the Characters identity was to give the proto hero giving him this theatrical mysticism making him above the law. You gave the face of justice a face an infallible face that was non corruptible in bondage of the law and himself . Honestly I’m not against him being of any race because he was a mystery for a reason . Although not canon ( but they definitely inspired ) Darwyn Cookes Minutemen illustrated this beautifully . Hollis was inspired by hooded justice ( and ultimately he killed) he was a beat cop who wanted to do more that a regular cop couldn’t do and honestly it cheapens hollis backstory if you stole his background as a small town country bumpkin in the big city going into the police force. And well if you think about it Captain metropolis only thinking about sex is a little out of character although true that Hooded justice and Metropolis had a homosexual relationship it makes it kind of shity when you make their entire relationship just fuckbuddies their relationship was more complicated than that . And by not focusing on Justice’s relationships with the rest of the minute men you make them feel like they are just footnotes of the story even though Shilloute, Nite owl, and motorman were just as virtuos as Hooded just maybe even more. Also by glossing over the attempted rape of Silk specter you ignored how much of a sexist misogonist Hooded justice was although protecting Sally Jupiter he called her a whore and to clean herself up. Dunno what the guy's problem is when it comes to adaptions, some have been good, some have been bad, same as any other author's adapted work, he shouldn't be so butthurt over the principle of it.

He was runmored to be two things , a Former Russian heavy lifted from the circus or a super natural specter and even then those theories where flimsily since when he died the body was never recovered unless the comedian went spelunking . I am confused by this episode. I don't think the KKK rode up from Tulsa and started lynching niggers in Queens IRL or did I miss something? Also the buttsecks scene felt out of place. Not because its gay but it was the most unsexy thing I've seen in a long time.

Well, Lovecraft encouraged other people, including fans, to write their own stories that contributed to the "Cthulhu mythos" and that took place in the same shared universe. So it's not as if he would have been too upset by the idea, probably.
