Do you believe that this series will turn to shit?

Lately, I had a bit of an epiphany: The 2020s are almost over.

And with that said, within the next few years we should hypothetically begin to hear rumblings of what the next big animated show or animation trend for the coming decade is gonna be. Hazbin technically checked the boxes for being the "defining cartoon" for the 2020s, but that's only because, in the grand scheme of things, it proved that indie animation was viable. I do wonder how the animation landscape could change within the next few years, or within the coming decade, especially given all the corporate mergers and drama. More importantly, will Viv find a way to stay relevant or be relegated to being a relic of her era?

What do you think?
I would be tempted to say the future of animation would involve the use of AI given how much can be accomplished with using AI as a toolset (just see some AI short animations on YouTube), but I don't want to commit to it given how uncertain the future is/how soon the whole datacenter and AI startup bubble might pop, and given how both indie and industry professionals have a vehement hatred for any and all things AI.

As for Viv herself, she's definitely already made her mark with both Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss and she's guaranteed a few more seasons of both, but whether or not anyone is going to want to work with her in the future given her lolcowish tendencies and the decline in quality of her products is anyone's guess.

One thing that they haven’t addressed is what about the people that the sinners hurt
You could argue that people in Heaven are in a state of grace and understanding that they would forgive their tresspassers if they've shown genuine remorse and a desire to not be the kind of person they were when they hurt them.

But that would require a level of theological, metaphysical, and philosophical reasoning and understanding that Vivziepop is incapable of.

I do enjoy the way Moxxie takes her hand to help her through the portal. Obviously she's more than capable of stepping through herself, it's just a cute "thing" they have.
I love how the only good, healthy, relationship that they've ever managed to write is the straight one.

Because Vivzie can't let Octavia have character development
But they will make her as a marketable plushie (Youtooz)

You know what that means (Could not upload a webp version, maybe some day I can add it):

Bonus edit:

A question occured to me today. Why does hell have antidepressants, festivals and circuseses? They don't really serve a purpose as a method of punishment, and they aren't specifically tied to a sin. You have gluttony in the form of drugs, and sex and clubs and toys for lust, but I don't see antidepressants being a manifestation of anything sin related maybe sloth, but Stolas gets around and does stuff on them so that doesn't make sense.

Out of universe answer: This isn't hell, it's California with a Hellish coat of paint.

In universe answer: Most of that stuff is for the benefit of Hellborne who've developed their own society and customs and thus need their own festivals, entertainment, infrastructure, and social support. All those things have nothing to do with sin and everything to do with the Hellborne just living their lives.

That's another thing. What's the point of hell if you can just be born into it?

Like so many things in the Hellaverse, it's just one of those things that Just Is.

VivziePop's Hell has no greater Theological or Metaphysical or Spiritual meaning except for the few moments in the series when it does, otherwise it's just another dimensional realm where these weird eccentric creatures who cuss a lot inhabit.

Also it's a bit criminal that Halo 3 ODST, a game made by Bungie cause they were contractually obligated to, is more faithful to The Inferno than the Hellaverse, shows literally set in Hell

Name me any animated show that had an "authetic" depection of Hell, they all did their own unique spins on it and Vivs aint any different. Problem is with how flaky the lore is for both shows, it course comes off as "Oh, this is LA with furries and demons", which is odd because the pilot for Hazbin felt more like Hell than well...the Amazon version.

The Smiling Friends episode "Charlie Dies and Doesn't Come Back" has a better and more entertaining depiction of hell in 12 minutes than Helluva Boss has in two seasons.

Another big difference between the pilot and the series proper that I only recently realized when I rewatched the "Inside Every Demon is a Rainbow" song from the pilot. Sure Charlie was being perky and naive (and that's the joke) but a big theme of that song and actually mentioned in the lyrics was actually getting the sinners to stop their bad behavior. Does Charlie in the Amazon show ever once talk about getting the sinners to stop sinning as a step in improving their lives and redeeming themselves? Not really, in fact not at all from what I remember.

It also helps that during the pilot we see how this place really does suck. You have random overlords fighting in the streets with passerbys getting gunned down or blown up. Vaggie telling how Alastor went on this murder spree and thus forth. You watch the show itself and only big overlord fight we had was Al vs Vox in S2. Yet, you'd think this shit would be more common, alliances switching on a dime, overlords constantlt fighting for the various parts of the city, back alley deals an etc. But nope, save for Vox and Al, thede guys seem rather chill with each other.
