I'm going to join in and announce I'm a big fan of Mad Monster Party. It should be the Halloween equivalent of Rudolph and Frosty, but it isn't because the world is cruel that way. I can't find the full film but here's all the musical numbers:

Halloween is Grinch Night, in which Dr. Seuss tried to put the Grinch in another holiday and came up with something completely bonkers:

Going through a list of halloween specials that have aired on tv, I remember watching the episodes but nothing stands out in my mind except a scary Claymation movie that had the Monster Mash dance done in the 80s I think, and one particular made for tv movie featuring a music number done by Tim Curry.

I flip on Hocus Pocus and Rocky Horror Picture Show, grab a big bag of candy corn (among the other leftover candy in the bowl), and go to town!

I'm so disappointed Grinch Night never caught on like How the Grinch Stole Christmas. I only saw Grinch Night once on TV when I was young, for years after that I thought I just imagined a Grinch Halloween special since nobody else in my class had ever heard of it.

And since nobody else has brought it up yet I am obligated to mention Disney's Halloween Treat.
