McVicker is claiming that Valve has decoupled the release of HLX from coinciding with the hardware, which was the previous heavy speculation; he (and various Twitter leakers) are now claiming we will be hearing information and preorders about said hardware within this very month/super early July.

I only bothered to link the video in this thread because he covers hardware leaks from some other people on Twitter in it and it's digestible. Like, alleged photographs of the Machine and Frame packaging type shit. Review embargo allegedly lifts on the 23rd too. If that's wrong, it will be extremely embarrassing for him lol.

Strangely, so am I.

I still think it's coming. The code leaks were way too frequent in recent years and they started just shortly before Half Life Alyx came out. There was also a (granted really thin and not really all that useful) leak with Deadlock a while back with some then upcoming model changes (which were legit), and some who saw some other stuff that wasn't shown hinted that they saw a glimpse of a build of HLX, though they said it was "the game everyone is expecting". But this isn't 100% confirmed but I'll chose to believe it's HLX.

Looks like the leakers are right because there's no way they would put this up now (and sponsor twitter posts from extremely popular game news aggregate accounts) if more details weren't imminent either later today or tomorrow.
