There was probably something that happened and we don't know about which made the 2024 attempt fail, like a signer backing out after the fact.

Very unlikely but more amusing answer would be that Russ forgot to tell ChatGPT about his success in that county, only the failures in others, and the rest of the legal theory was invented from there.

Well, he did successfully file it with Lincoln County. The document in the emails U_M got had the clerk's stamp on it from March 2024. He probably just failed to get signatures, or was too lazy to try.

FWIW I looked up all the signers' addresses. The first 3 are houses that haven't been sold since 2024. The last 2 signers live in the same apartment; it's Section 8 housing in town, so I can't tell if anyone moved. None of them seem to have an online presence to check if they moved, but I didn't look very deep.

Also, I don't think any of them were mentioned as the volunteers Greer talked about in this suit. Lincoln was mentioned the emails he included as exhibits, and we only know about the 5 signatures because of that Scribd account it leaked. Whether the sponsors backed out, or he failed on his own, it seems completely intentional that he left out his initial success from the lawsuit. Combine that with that December email saying he was going to re-file it in 2026, sent on the same day he filed this lawsuit, and it's as irrefutable proof of intentional fraud as you can get.

As far as legal theories go, it's probably as simple and retarded as "I tried in 6 places and only succeeded once, therefore it's too hard and illegal".

You're approaching this as a rational person seeking to make a long term change. Russ doesn't care about the lawsuit itself. He needs the emergency ex parted injunction. The special exception just for him. That would allow him to get his world changing hookers on the ballot for this election. Actually arguing the case is years down the road. I just realized something. Emailing the clerk that he'll be collecting signatures in Lincoln this year, on the same day he filed this lawsuit, has a second implication beyond mere fraud. Begging for emergency injunctions to get on the ballot in other counties this year, implies Greer thinks he can run petitions and initiatives in two places at once.

This lazy pest couldn't get a petition going in 2024 even with his 5 signatures committee, and he couldn't make a meeting in Lincoln within a 2 month window. How does he think he's going to collect hundreds of signatures, on an unpopular subject, in multiple counties within the 3-4 months he'd have before the submission cutoff?

IIRC, discrimination in employment on the basis of protected characteristics or class still includes sex class, male or female. I know there are some ancient and outdated, (for modern times,) laws still on the books, especially state by state, but I can’t think of one state offhand that still allows blatant discrimination via sex. Clearly it happens but by law it’s not really permitted, to the best of my current knowledge.
