These niggerjews are going to force everybody to double dip and buy the game for 100 dollars another time when the pc version releases. Fuck these faggots for not releasing the pc version at launch
You're not being forced to. You are choosing to. And they know you will. That's why they do it.

You could, of course, just stop giving them money.

You could, of course, just stop giving them money.
Yes but generally speaking that would require an inner monologue and the ability to evaluate a purchasing decision tied to a value proposition and I don't think this is something that can be expected from people who predominantly still buy AAA games in 2026. Restraining yourself from a dopamine rush while everyone around you is doing it has become a mythical ability.

They could just have the physical release be shipped later, Give people the code AND the disk and have both use the same serial number.

Apparently such simple things are too hard to envision. Or they just don't care because the goyim will buy it anyway.

It took longer to go from Trailer 1 to Trailer 2 than it took to go from GTA III release to GTA Vice City release.

The development cycle isn't just bloated, it's absurd. They have spent billions on fucking modeling the chest hair and celulite of player models while the actual gameplay is still worse than GTA San Andreas (I have always hated the HD GTAs for how the movement feels. Characters all feel floaty and rubbery to me, the way they swing around isn't as crisp as the 3D era, and I suck at driving so the 3D ones felt better to me). If anything things have gone backwards, missions in 5 are way more tightly controled and locked down to the point where you need to do EXACTLY as the devs envisioned it down to a T or else the game fails you because you chose to take a different car or to try and get a better vantage point for a shot.

And I just realized they STILL have shown no gameplay demos whatsoever. Of course. We all know why: the gameplay is EXACTLY the same as GTA V and RDR2. They are not gonna change shit. We all know it. Better to say nothing and allow the goyim to just IMAGINE it than risk them getting their expectations shattered before they can spend their money.

Elaborate. Adjectives can't do anything on their own.
RDR2’s intro is easily one of the most painfully slow in gaming history. You’re stuck on trains, stagecoaches, and trudging through snow for an eternity before the “real” game even starts. And honestly? It never really feels like it does. That heavy, deliberate pace just sticks with you the whole time.

Arthur moves like he’s wading through mud. Every turn takes forever, animations lock you in place way too long, and the controls feel floaty and unresponsive. Compared to how snappy older Rockstar games felt, it’s frustrating more than immersive.

The missions are basically on rails. You’re constantly being herded down narrow paths, forced into cover, or stuck waiting for cutscenes to finish before you can move again. There’s barely any freedom in them. And gameplay-wise? It’s pretty much the same Rockstar formula, just slower. Zero real innovation here.

Gunplay feels lackluster at best. You’re locked into reload animations, cover is clunky, and shooting just doesn’t feel punchy or satisfying. Looting houses is another chore—just a repetitive “press X to search every drawer” loop that takes forever and rarely gives you anything worth keeping. It’s pretty shitty by modern standards.

Hunting and crafting sound cool in theory, but the rewards are so underwhelming it becomes a total slog. You spend twenty minutes tracking an animal, skinning it, processing pelts, only to get one or two mediocre materials for camp upgrades or weapon mods that barely make a difference. It’s way more work than it’s worth.

The story itself isn’t bad, but it’s pretty safe. Rockstar lost its edge somewhere along the way. Instead of gritty, morally gray chaos, you get this polished, almost sentimental drama about redemption and the dying outlaw era. It’s got that “semi-woke” vibe where everything feels carefully calibrated to be inoffensive and progressive.

That shows up in how they write Black characters and women—they’re basically all perfect or total badasses. Even Arthur reads more like a noble everyman than a proper antihero. It’s all polished to death, missing that raw, unpredictable energy Rockstar used to nail.

At the end of the day, RDR2 looks amazing and has this huge world, but it feels more like a cinematic theme park ride than a living game.

I genuinely don't even know who plays these games. Is it just teenagers and brown "people?" They're fun for awhile to drive around and kill people, but that wears off.
I like it because its a parody of American culture, GTA 6 could be fantastic if they had you kill trump supporters discord mods and antifa but a-lass it will most likely be bland because rockstar is cucked now.

The caveat nobody is paying attention to is that GTA VI is the only game in modern history that looks like it has earned the $80 price tag.
I just remembered another apples to apples point with this $80/$100 price point.

GTA IV released in 2008 with two editions available for purchase for $60/$80 respectively. The $60 version was the game disc, an instruction manual and a paper map of Liberty City. What did the $80 "special edition" include for $20 more?

An art book, a curated CD soundtrack featuring songs included in IV, a branded safety deposit box, a branded duffel bag, a special keychain, and of course the game proper.

All of that being tangible extras for fans or collectors that did not compromise the literal game itself. Compare this with GTA VI's base edition of $80 that is A) digital only, B) segmented key features to sell for $20 extra.

I can’t believe you guys are so assblasted about an incredibly reasonable price on the most ambitious and most expensive video game ever made.
I know this is rage bait but whatever.

Hey, nigger? It is not my fucking fault they spent billions of dollars developing a fucking video game; not a space faring vessel, not a cancer preventive drug, not the next step to human evolution, but a piece of digital entertainment. It should not be my responsibility to recoup their retarded fucking decisions to make sure it hits profitability. Please do us a favor and
A. Stop participating in, and therefore, ruining my hobby
B. Suck start a shotgun.

Honestly, I have nigger culture fatigue. I think a lot of people do. So no, I won't buy your goyimslop for $80. I can replay gta sa. or try out gta iv on pc.

Shit like digital only release of a major game is why Stop Killing Games is so important. Fuck T2 and R*.

This is the zoomer game of the decade, they all grew up playing GTA5 and all the tiktok faggets are going to try and steal an early copy from a store for the 5 minutes of fame.
And get a code that will pre-download the game. Most likely, this shit ain't leaking. Maybe some devs or contracted devs will leak something on 4chan. but the game itself, probably not.

i wonder if they are going to be jew enough to lock the game to that specific code so you cant start the game with different ps5 accounts on the same machine
They probably will. Or lock it to your account.

Do you know what games cost to distribute in 1995? Do you know how big the market was? Do you remember when you got an actual physical copy of a finished game instead of a download key?
You also got a regular box, not a bd/dvd/cd case. an actual manual with content. maybe a strat guide. product catalogs. registration. maybe even a map or other feelies.

I know this is rage bait but whatever.

Console poor.

Fucking wording biting me in the ass... Already explained to the other guy that my assumptions are based on talking with people who have technical knowledge of how Rockstar makes their games, so I know that there is a significant technical leap here. I'd go in length about it but I don't feel like writing a wall of text just for the answer to be "lol goyim." Also, does the game only counts as real if I see a character walking in a 3D environment? Nothing can be assumed from this promotional material? I guess, man. I don't even have a PS5, I'm not buying this until I have taken care of other financial needs, but thanks for making assumptions.

Apples and apples. None of this explains why the pre-order bonuses are bad this time around.

That's the best point you made.
I am guessing you are a melanin person because the only people I've seen defending this shit are bluecheck fags like synth potato who would defend cancer if it gave him a crumb of praise or money, and browns/blacks. And it has mostly centered around the "hah, look at this poor, can't afford $100" fallacy where the actual reason for the outrage is dodged entirely.

"I know a guy who knows" lol fucking get real. Everyone knows that rockstar has historically been able to great things and even bring platforms to their heights - as janky as it was GTA V maxed out the PS3 and maximized it's capability. RDR2 did the same with the PS4.
But guess what - a lot of the people on those teams are no longer with rockstar. Their Indian dev team has expanded. Expecting this to be the same quality as something made by largely different teams with entirely different dynamics and oversight is peak goyim behavior.

Go ahead, throw your shekels at them, deepthroat the slop as deep as you can. I'll pass and I hope it fails them somehow.

I can't wait until EA tries this shit not realizing that if nothing else GTA is a once a decade mega release and their CoD slop is a yearly garbage pit.

PC isn't out for a year anyways so I'll have plenty of footage to review before deciding to buy it on a sale.

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but is this not one of the weakest performing console generations? What kind of ROI do they genuinely expect to see in the first year? Do they expect people to rush out and buy a console just for their product, in this economy?
