It's been real funny to see Glinner sperg out over the years, but this was a long time coming. I don't blame the Trans folk for celebrating, the dude's been a pain in their ass for years, if anyone has reason to celebrate it's them. Seeing this fat, pasty, cockeyed heap run his mouth, get sued, and then scramble to settle was great and all... but him getting slapped with a permanent suspension is something truly special because Twitter was the only thing that mattered in his life.

To be fair to the wiki editor, other than Graham bombing his career, destroying his marriage, and getting sued... what else is there to talk about other than him being a "proud terf"? This cockeyed prick is more well known for going after the trans community than he is for his writing career. Don't get me wrong though, if they were trans lolcows I could understand it, but this dude spent YEARS going after a bunch of seemingly random Trans folk for no real reason. I'll admit though, it's pretty funny that he had to hide behind twitter to do it, ff you're going to talk shit about someone at least have the spine to do it in public... just imagine how fucking funny it would have been to see this saggy heap of meat get laid out on his back with a single punch from a trans person while he was running his mouth, God that'd be great.
Sidenote: I am still amazed that his feminist buddies haven't MeToo'd him yet, especially with him routinely making them all look like spastic, insecure tards.

Anti trans feminists don't have many friends at the moment. They're happy to take any support they can get, even if it is a Fucking Male Oppressor. If their views were to gain some popularity however I'm sure they'd ditch him at the first opportunity.

The radfem predecessors of the modern TERF wing were fairly notorious back in the day for aligning themselves with hardcore christian fundamentalists against pornography and prostitution, even when the fundies were aggressively pushing for a whole swath of both anti woman and anti feminist schtick, so much so that it was something Margaret Atwood wrote into the backstory of The Handmaid's Tale, so its something they certainly have the pedigree for.

From my experiance they're either the sort of woman who refers to her vagina as the font of life and unironically uses goddess as a description or a really bitter dyke catlady. Neither of which are particulary pleasent conversationalists even by twitter low standards.

As usual with these things, no one in the comments has even attempted to debunk what he said. For a group that is extremely forgiving about looks in their own community, Glinner does seem to a get a lot of hate about how he looks. Even the bad lighting (which he mentions) seems to be of higher priority for commenting upon. Everyone just finds it unremarkable that he says that gay children are being pressured into transitioning? No wonder he comes across as a bit crazy, he must feel like he is in the Twilight Zone or something.

I read this blog post of Glinner’s, and what he’s arguing is that, just like how murders occur whenever Jessica Fletcher is around, paedos turn up whenever Glinner tweets about women’s rights. But then surely that would make him the Jessica Fletcher *for* paedos, and not the Jessica Fletcher *of* paedos - the implication of the latter being, of course, that he’s a paedo himself? For a once-professional writer, he’s not very good at writing.

No, British. I would have thought that supports what I said: to be ‘of’ Baker Street, or ‘of’ London, etc. is to be from there; similarly, to be ‘of’ some group of people is to be from that group, a member of that group. For example, to be the ’‘Michael Jordan of Irish dancing’ you need to be an Irish dancer.
Perhaps I’m mistaken, it just read quite awkwardly to me.

Started reading this thread from.the beginning because I feel like becoming disappointed, and I have an edit for the OP-- he didn't just "work on" Father Ted and The IT Crowd, he was the sole creator and sole writer for both shows.
