I don't really have any problem with distinguishing art from the artist. Kurt was an arse, Brando and wells where fat manchildren and kubric treated his staff like shit. Grahams may be petulant spazzteck who embarrises himself on Twitter instead of writting but that doesn't make his work retroactively shit.
Some people should stay off Twitter.


It's hard to believe a guy so devoid of self-awareness could make a episode which effectively mocks Racism, Racists, taboo humor and faux passes. How the mighty can fall.

Decided to have a look at Graham's Twitter. I saw the words Cora from the Google search and for a moment I thought he was talking about Trigglypuff...

In case you're not GamerGate-literate, that's that was perceived as a reference to the Five Guys incident that basically kicked off GamerGate by Zoe Quinn and a bunch of other antis. Zoe Quinn's been whining about it and all her white knights have rushed to her aid, Graham included.

This thread's starting to drift off-topic and I'm not willing to go through the whole history of GamerGate for people who don't know. If you want to know what the Five Guys incident is, you need to Google it.

But no, it's not the restaurant, although that was referenced.

I think it's directed at the whole thing, but these people always have to make this stuff about themselves.

EDIT:

Apparently the joke was taken out of context in those screenshots and it was actually about Watergate - those two screenshots don't happen right after each other and apparently the Five Fun Guys is just a pun on the word Fungi. That actually makes it even more pathetic that these people have tried to make it about themselves.

Nothing says "feminist ally" like retweeting a guy who lied about witnessing an underage girl getting sexually abused for attention.
 
I'm kinda interested to find out if the original Japanese version of the game made reference to GamerGate, or if it was a reference that was put into the English one on purpose
