A place to discuss the undisputed king of beverages. It's a soda but also a medicine. Have a stummy ache? Throw some ginger ale in that bitch.

What's your favorite brand? Have you ever tried making homemade ginger ale? Do you pair it with any liquors?

Vernors is the best out there on the market. I find it pairs well with Old Grandad whiskey.

I think you mean ginger beer from the description. Ginger ale is closer to a soda while ginger beer is the one commonly used as a mixer but also enjoyed on its own.

Vernors is the best of the Ginger Ale's but its still too sugary for my tastes these days. Back in college I used to mix it with Bacardi Oakheart Rum, which afaik doesn't exist anymore. Together they made a really solid party drink that could be mixed very strong.

As I've aged I've grown to prefer Ginger Beer, and of the ones I've tried Bundaberg is the best.

Ginger Ale is like the elixir to cure any disease. Got a cold? Drink some ginger ale. Fever? Ginger ale. Mix some rum in it too, or whiskey, I forget.

I know they sell ginger beer and this one beer garden down from where I live, never had it before.

This is some of the best Ginger Ale out there. Hard to find, but MAN its so smooth and perfectly balanced. Not gacky sweet, not spicy hot, its perfect.

You can usually find it in stores. Sometimes it's in the mixer section by the booze, other times its in the less mainstream part of the soda section with other niche soft drinks.

This is the kind I'm talking about.

If you can't find it in stores you can order it on Amazon too.

Ventured out tonight to score 24 of these double bottles (4x6 packs).

Soda has skyrocketed in price since the fake & ghey tariff war.

I used to be able to pick up these 6-packs on sale for 2.50 or so. Now the 12 pack sleeves of cans all retail for 7 bucks plus.

Doesn't make much sense that the plastic bottles have increased in price alongside the aluminum cans.

I even switched to buying those store brand ghetto 2L bottles, but others are noticing the inflation and there are empty shelves whenever I go.

These 6 packs were 3.25, cheapest I've seen for a while.

I exclusively drink diet and am always disappointed with the limited selection. Was happy to find the Canada Dry in the sale racks.

I'm a simple man, my favorite brand of ginger ale is Canada Dry. For ginger beer, I prefer Bundaberg.

They dropped the oakheart label and now just call it "Bacardi spiced rum" instead of "Bacardi Oakheart spiced rum" but it's still available. I'll give that a try one of these days, sounds great.

this is my favorite ginger soda, especially over ice with lime wedges.
it's made with natural sugar and ginger extract, it's spicy, and it's available in a 22oz resealable can.
