I don't know of anything Suzie was in except for the Final Fantasy VII remake, and even then, the one clip I saw her character in was so fucking obnoxious and she was easily the worst-sounding voice in that cut scene. This fucking chipmunk is playing the Major, you kidding me?
The worst thing about ProzD specifically is that as a voice-actor he's still doing his Vine-clip era meme video voices. there was a time I was a bit more dub tolerant when they used to hire actual voice actors with experience, including theater, but American dubbing has become nothing but a catty mean-girl style clique, an incestuous enterprise where the same groups of badly aging VAs who've spent decades doing slightly different variations on the same voice get work, where being a niche e-celeb or YouTuber who goes by a stupid name like Johnny Cool The Voice Ghoul or something is considered an asset instead of a hinderance.
Excited for it especially. Speaking of Masamune, really upset that Appleseed docs got lost. Alpha was a disappointment
Spent a couple of days rewatching SAC+Second GIG and it's still solid. Weirdly, the dub is good. 2045 did not hold up though.
It made me miss crime procedurals so now I'm watching Psycho-Pass and I've realized how much I fucking hate ling tosite sigure and want the whispy faggot vocals gone from anime for good.
Man, the second arc of Human Algorithm goes to the middle of fucking Africa, where there is conflicts between teo factions, I guess it is a first in GITS (never watched SAC) that they went to Africa.
It's going to be a blast reading the weekly discussions on this because there are a lot of GITS fans who haven't seen nor read the original manga. The opener was very much in line with Masamune's work, including the Major's more animated personality. Love how much Science Saru nailed the OG art style too; this one will be very fun.
Pretty good first episode. I didn't like the English va's though and switched the language back to Japanese really quick. I enjoyed the art style and the differences in the characters, admittedly I've never read the manga (not a fan of manga/comics) but I think I'll have fun with this one. Oh and the fuchikomas uwu face while talking was pretty funny.
