General Wrestling Discussion

I am sure you've all already noticed the ridiculous nature of it but the WWE is shameless talking about body positivity in the Nia match not one hour after the dancing midgets in pancake suits entrance.
They're proud of being midget pancakes.
How dare you oppress them.

I was expecting New Day in the black and red gear of the bad guy from Dragonball Super, and was generally disappointed with their entrance .

Anybody know why?
I'll need a lot more convincing it's not some WCW-style stupid backstage work shit.

He renewed his contract a couple hours ago so you're probably right

I don't think Asuka losing was a bad idea but they should have done it to make a new star. Charlotte is firmly established as a main event talent already, and most people take her seriously as a wrestler. They should have done it to make a big splash on a debut or catapult someone into a top program.

But I get why they did it, if you have someone who can't lose, ever, then it really restricts what you can put them in.

With Lashley back, we'll probably get that Lashley/Lesnar clash. Maybe a Lion's den match. Speaking of Lashley, Ahmed Johnson/Big T did have an opinion of the guy some decade ago:

For a guy who is hard to understand, he criticizes the way Lashley speaks. At least we can understand him, unlike Big T.

I always love the way Vince would say "AAAAAHmed Johnson!"

I'm generally interested in how International Veteran Wrestler Bobby Lashley does back inWWE.

To be fair, it was really bad and did nothing but bury the hell out of Cesaro and Shaemus

I'm a fan of both Cesaro and Sheamus and I think they'll be fine. I see them getting drafted to Smackdown and having a feud with the Usos, reestablishing their credibility. One loss to a monster like Braun isn't a burial.

Sheamus said in an interview a while ago he's got "crapneck, the condition that ended Edge's career" so he might be on his way out, too.

A shame, their team is pretty great.

Some guy on an image board snitched on Taker to the Haram Police in advance of the Halalest Royal Rumble and posted it:Ver archivo adjunto 426628

There's a legitimate rumour going around that Vince changed the finish to Reigns vs Lesnar at Mania so that the title change could take place at Saudi Arabia, because the Saudis threw more money their way.

I'm honestly surprised this whole thing isn't getting the backlash that the Moolah Battle Royal got, it would be far more warranted.

Nobody defends what Moolah did, but there's a large contingent that supports any action taken by US-aligned countries in the Middle East like the Saudis and Israelis.

I was more thinking amongst some of the SJW types that are rampant on Reddit and such. Some are outspoken about it, but are doing nothing. I'm guessing it's probably because they don't believe in their principles enough to cancel what is probably going to be a good show, even if it's in a theocratic Wahhabist shithole. They'll cry for hours about some random troll calling Naomi a monkey on Twitter, but won't do anything about her or any of the other women not being allowed to perform at a landmark show.

For once in my life though, I'm excited about something that's going down in Saudi Arabia, so I'll give the WWE that.

There's some clause in those goofballs' contacts where they can only cry and piss themselves over trivial shit.

Meanwhile, in the world outside of lolWWE, it looks like the arrangements that are allowing "Pentagon jr" to appear on Impact are part of a bigger peace accord between the Lucha Brothers and AAA. :heart-full:
