General Wrestling Discussion

I was more thinking amongst some of the SJW types that are rampant on Reddit and such. Some are outspoken about it, but are doing nothing. I'm guessing it's probably because they don't believe in their principles enough to cancel what is probably going to be a good show, even if it's in a theocratic Wahhabist shithole. They'll cry for hours about some random troll calling Naomi a monkey on Twitter, but won't do anything about her or any of the other women not being allowed to perform at a landmark show.

For once in my life though, I'm excited about something that's going down in Saudi Arabia, so I'll give the WWE that.

If pushback from people online could change WWE's booking plans, they would have had the public beheading of Roman Reigns (as portrayed by Joseph Anoa'i) main event Mania. We as a society have decided to turn a blind eye to Saudi Arabia and Israel for geopolitical reasons, but Moolah isn't underpinning our oil supply so the sponsors were more than willing to threaten cutting ties over her.

There's a legitimate rumour going around that Vince changed the finish to Reigns vs Lesnar at Mania so that the title change could take place at Saudi Arabia, because the Saudis threw more money their way.

I'm honestly surprised this whole thing isn't getting the backlash that the Moolah Battle Royal got, it would be far more warranted.

I hope that Lesnar retains because it'd be funny watching Meltzer make up excuses as to why he was wrong again.

Cena, 40, proposed to Bella, 34, one year ago at Wrestlemania 33. The two have been dating since 2012. The pair were last were spotted in public together at Wrestlemania 34 on Sunday, April 8.

On Saturday, April 14, the Blockers star posted an Instagram photo of a quote from Walt Whitman that read, “We were together. I forget the rest.”

Last month, Cena spoke with Us Weekly about their relationship, admitting that it takes a lot of work.

Most Shocking Celebrity Splits
“Relationships are hard. Don’t ever think that love is easy. Love is beautiful, but we’ve had to come to the realization after being together for five years that love is not easy,” Cena said. “We work every day on us. We have our problems just like everybody else. Some of our problems are very public, some of them aren’t. But we work every day on us. Anytime I get upset, I always just realize that I can’t live without her and I love her and that’s why I cave in on a lot of stuff.”

He continued: “It takes being able to mesh two lives. I would never ever want Nicole to be in a position where she says, ‘I’m holding you back from doing this because I feel it’s wrong for us.’ And I would never say that to her. That’s why she’s super busy and sometimes we don’t see each other for months at a time, but when we do see each other, it’s our time together. I think, for now at least, that is certainly what’s making this work.”

I heard it got moved because Reigns is over huge with the Saudis and the optics would look better.

I don't know why, but I feel like Strowman maybe shipped over to Smackdown tonight. He's too over when you compare him to everyone on the roaster and you just brought back Bobby Lashley who's supposed to be this massive powerhouse, but next to Strowman, he's rather small. I don't think Raw can really have two athletic powerhouses.

With Wrestlemania in the books, Future Endeavor season is upon us. Any thoughts on who's going to be on the chopping block?
