He's gone against his fathers wishes before though, such as what he did with wrestling in the 80's, his business practices against WCW and buying up territories so I don't think he'd help out her out because his father said so, I think there's more to it.

Probably. I’m just repeating stuff Meltzer has said and stuff I’ve heard others say on shoot interviews, he has stayed pretty loyal to the people who were loyal to his father. Andre, and Patterson, (hired him right back after the sex abuse heat died down) but he fucked over Stu Hart a few times and he was always loyal to New York. I’m sure there are plenty of levels of intrigue to it all.

I'm a little surprised at naming the thing after her. I figured she wasn't going to get Benoited or anything but directly calling attention to her existence seems to be a dumb idea.

If anybody actually gives a fuck about wrestling history they'll know her as the pimp, any of lolWWE's target audience of dummies with no taste in pro-wrestling won't know her from Mae Young or Clara Peller.

I find it where that they don't think people would look her up online. Like that's the reason why they don't want to put Chyna into the Hall of Fame because they're afraid of the Google searches. Thing is, look at what's at the top of searches for Moolah, look at what's in her Wiki. She's far worse.
 
The thing you've gotta think about is that a lot of fans especially the casuals who only really watch rumble-mania as that old lady who was around in the attitude era, i dont think its so much that they think people are going to google Chyna its more that those fans would probably know about the porn stuff i dont really think its actually an issue with Chyna but thats how WWE sees it.

I don't see a huge issue about the whole Chyna/ porn thing, like Tammy did about the same shit as she did and buried as many bridges, but neither have done anything on par with what Moolah did. Like May Young's whole sleeping/ beating married men for money isn't as bad as what Moolah did.

When added to the whole ‘current year’ #meaninglesswordsaboutsexualharassmentabuse stuff going on and their big battle royal to demonstrate how they are pushing women as equals is named after an abuser of women whom actually devolved women’s in North America it demonstrates how truly carny WWE really still is.

Well they do pay for the rights to own all of the tapes and shit for the territories so why not?
 
Is it just me, or do Impact Wrestling hardcore fans look incredibly cringy?

Not that hardcore WWE can be cringy, but impact has a fan base that is full of people that have a very fragile ego, whenever WWE gets into play and they still seem to think that they could be a viable opponent to Vinces global empire, eventhough they are just a glorified indy league now.
